9000 miles the front tires want replacing!!

Yes 9000 miles on my 1.6 DIG-t Qashqai and the Continental contactsport 5 tires are nearly finished !! WTF ? I have read similar reports on the net using these tires...anyone else have similar stories?

My daughter got 30,000 + out of her Continentals on her Qashqai, but I did swop them round for her at every service.

You're assuming the tracking was right from the factory, or that you didn't knock something out within the first week...

if it was tracking they'd likely be bald on one of the shoulders. i'm going with fwd scrabblewagon being at fault, conversely the rear tyres will go for 50,000 miles cos all they do is hold the rear of the car up.

Got around 15k miles from the michelins on our old Juke Nismo and they had about 3mm left, ive heard the contis are alot worse barely seeing 10k miles.

I've just put my winter tyres on only to find my Hancook on the rear are down to the limit..only done 8000 if that..and no I don't drive it like I stole it either...just think poor soft compounds...
