what size is the larger speaker behind the driver seat ( the upper most one) and is it a sub speaker as there isnt one behind the passenger seat .

also is it poss to install one in the glove box area or would it rattle ?

also does my 2004 DE gt model have a factory amp ? as i cant locate one .

Definitely possible to install a speaker in the glove box area with some modification.

The US Zeds have the Bose speaker on the opposite side so if you could get hold of a US cars Bose speaker grill/surround etc then that could be one way of doing it as below....

The other option would be to remove the glove box completely again and make some sort of MDF replacement although you would have to do the other side to if you wanted it to match and look good. As below....

Or did you mean actually in the glove box!!?

Oh and if your Zed has the Bose set up then you should have a factory Bose amp for running the sub. It's not capable of running anything else though if that's what you were thinking.

Amp is in the boot.

Standing and looking into the boot, lift the carpet and it's on the left within it's own brace

cheers BM .

had the carpet up yesterday but never saw anything apart from the alarm siren box .

ill take another look and see if i missed the obvious lol

Once you lift that floor cover (when you see the alarm sounder) you then need to remove that large black lump of polyfoam on the left side (as you look into teh boot - opposite corner from your alarm siren). The amp is hiding under that.

We are of course assuming you have the bose system with subwoofer behind driver seat right?
