One of my favourite roads down to moffat, had a good wee run and a stop off at the famous moffat toffe shop. Stunning scenery

Was a perfect day for it. Nice road down through the various little towns but most of it is 60 roads with nice bends etc, so even just cruising its a great road to take the Z down. About an hour and half from me so its a decent trip, I usually try and go down every year or up to St. Andrew's

Great roads and scenery. I'd avoid the toffee shop though, as I usually end up with a mouth full of loose fillings!

Drove up that road what we call the Beeftub road yesterday a 6.30 am and back down later on in my sons WRX/STI as my car is in for repair at the body shop just now.

Got to say it is one of my favorite roads. If ever we are going to Edinburgh or beyond thats the road I go rather than the motorway.

Met an unusual convoy of 3 cars led by a big Audi q series which was a Ferrari an AC Cobra and a Morgan 3 wheeler never took much notice of the drivers

as we were on a twisty bit of road at the time, but did wonder later who it all was?

If any of you get a chance take a drive up or down that road its a blast.

Beautiful scenery and those roads do look great especially with the nice weather you seemed to have there.
