Berk HFC's or Cobra HFC's?

I am going to have an Ark Grip fitted and was thinking of fitting either Berk Or Cobra HFC's. Apart from the price what's the difference in sound etc..?

Has Berks on the Milltek, wouldn't have them again, the substrate in one of them broke up and caused a horrible rattle and mine's NA! Fair play to Berks as they did replace them but once bitten twice shy for me.

I would try it as it is mate to start with. I don't think you will want to change anything about it. Save the money for other mods.

I've got Berk/Ark combo fitted and its a decent sound

As mentioned I would try the Ark on its own first and then see how you get on.

I can't see the Cobra HFC's on your website, have you stopped selling them? Are the more likely to pass an MOT emissions test?

We've just supplied and fitted the Cobra HFCs this afternoon, perfect fit and sounded excellent married up to the Ark system, let us know if we can help with the cats... :)

Are they any better than the Berk's when it comes to MOT time?

They are in the Cobra store section below:

To be honest HFCs seem to be one of those things where its just bad luck if they fail.

I would say percentage wise its pretty low - we have sold hundreds and we have had a handful fail.

Berk only come with 12 months warranty where as Cobra come with 2 years so its worth thinking about. No one offers more than 2 years to my knowledge.

If you give the car a good blast before the MOT you should be fine
