Lexx Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Rcvd a letter at my parents house today - a place I havent been registered at for the better part of 6 years. Anyways, its from the MOD. You remember that Laptop that went missing with all the info on it? Well it turns out my details are on it! I kinda figured I was immune since Im not in the forces. But no. What they didnt tell people on the news is it included the personnal information and application forms for anyone who has applied/had interviews for the forces. 9 years ago I applied to the Royal Navy, but afetr successful interviews, decided at the last minute to enter the Merchant Navy instead (more money and less BS) What I want to know is why on earth was information thats almost 10 years old doing on a laptop!?!?! The letter of apology didnt explain any of this! Im fuming! Rant over. Quote
