The latest Stones do quite well (for RWD at least) and the performance of the Pirellis is pretty shocking all round. Would have been interesting to have had a few more makes tested. Quote

On tests like these most manufacturers are invited to send there latest tyre in for comparison, but you'd be surprised at how many company's dont (well thats what i was told by someone who has participated in tyre tests before)... Bridgestones are CRAP! So will go for either Goodyear or Toyo Quote

This time of year isn't the best to be doing any weaving or anything like that......! Quote

A tip for those peeps who do tend lose it; on a rear wheel drive car, do not try to put power down whilst you enter the corner. Brake whilst on the straight before the corner, foot off or feather into the corner, power on out of the corner, but always gradually relative to the conditions so not too hard when it's wet. Sounds noddy and I don't mean to insult anyone but most people only ever drive FWD cars when learning and don't immediately know what to do in a RWD when they get one. Quote
