Ben imo the Berks HFC's are good quality. Had them on my Zed without issue.

 

The only Berks HFC's that I have heard of failing are ones that were used with forced induction cars. Eg: supercharged or turbo charged applications.

 

Mitz will sort you out though I'm sure. :D;)

All HFC's have the potential to fail if they aren't hot enough or if the tester isn't very friendly. Any of the known brands will be fine.

 

I think by fail, its meant become defective.

 

Possibly, but I've heard int he past year or 18 months of quite a few Berks beginning to fail MOT emissions testing. No idea if they changed something, or if it was just a cluster of unfortunate tests.

Most HFC struggle to meet emissions unless properly warmed up
