M13KYF Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 Jacko's sounds very nice. I would want to be paying a bit less than what they are asking. Quote
shire350Z Posted January 27, 2008 Author Posted January 27, 2008 well they wont go any lower!! heard the nismo find it a little to quiet but dont want the droning Quote
RagingKileak Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Well guys, if anyone has a nismo they wanna sell let me know!! I wanted the DC kit but I would prefer 90% of the noise without the droning on motorways!! Matt Quote
Andy Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Well guys, if anyone has a nismo they wanna sell let me know!! I wanted the DC kit but I would prefer 90% of the noise without the droning on motorways!! Matt A lot of the traders on here sell the Nismo if you wanted one straight away! Failing that they do pop up every now and again when members sell. Might be worth popping up a post in the Wanted Section. Quote
Jacko Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 I've never had a problem with droning on the motorway....... I do a fair bit of motorway miles (and how often do you actually sit at 70/80 for long periods anyway!). Always found it to be fine. Its loud system, but transforms the car into sounding like a proper big engined beast at low revs with a deep growl, then turns into a nice rasp at higher revs..... To be honest I love the sound of it. For £500 i'd be wanting a perfect and immaculate system though and check the gaskets as depending on how long been on the car, these can need replacing..... Quote
M13KYF Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 If any gaskets are missing, thenyou can contact TDI North. Also a good place to get it fitted Quote

sl114 Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Mark have you got a pic of them on your car? Quote
shire350Z Posted January 30, 2008 Author Posted January 30, 2008 yeah can u put few pics of your system up jacko? havent seen yet but say backbox is like new highly polished and mid pipes are slighty tained due to heat! done 4thousand miles so dont think bad at £500 sayin new there about £850 Quote
Digsy Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Looks like he was too busy polishing his lips to spend time on the zorst! Quote
M13KYF Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 don't think they were ever that shiny. Probably down to sumo power and more concerned about drifting than keeping them clean Quote
shire350Z Posted January 30, 2008 Author Posted January 30, 2008 hmmmm must admit think the nismo looks abit nicer but does teh Dc sound better and them wheels are Quote
Stew Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 The nismo looks the same as stock near enough. The DC is cut rather than rolled. Quote
Digsy Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 No doubt that the NISMO is the better looking exhaust - easily distinguished from stock as the pipes have NISMO on them and are straight at the tips, therefore it sticking out a little more. It does still look pretty OEM though. Quote
Toon Chris Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 found these in his photobucket Can't see these Quote
