ilogikal1 Posted April 2, 2016 Share Posted April 2, 2016 That's your problem then I suspect - I make that a diameter difference of about 5% compared to the standard ~2.5%. That new difference is triggering the traction control because your car assumes the speed difference front-to-rear is you getting it all sorts of wrong and thus cutting the power. What size would you suggest on the fronts :/ sorry when it comes to wheels n tyers I'm shocking haha This is more of a guess on my part than fact (won't be far off though if not spot on) but if you're running a 10J ET12 with 265/35/18 on the rear then the front should be something like a 9.5J ET12 with 245/35/18's on. The ET & whether the alloy will fit over the brake caliper does depend on alloy wheel design though so best to check before buying (although it maybe fine). cs2000 Posted April 4, 2016 Share Posted April 4, 2016 fake ben taylor is correct, For a 9.5j wheel, you'd want something like a 265, for a 10.0j a 285 would fit well.
