hey people,

just joined up here and about to take the plunge and buy a 350z

 

import 06 auto in white (added pic) 6k on the clock too

looks all ok and currently waitign its test to be carried out by the dealer.

 

what you guys think, look ok?

its costing me about 17k

 

being a bit new to this would appreciate any help/advice on it.

Yes it seems like a good price to me. Looking at the auctions though, you may have found an 07 with 0 miles on the clock in pearl for around £18-20k fully imported. But for an 06, thats pretty good

something much more scary to drive..........lexus is220.

owned a couple of scoobies in the past so no stranger to fast cars....just never had a all out 2 seater.large engine car before.

hope not...although i do like the 'luxury' of the lexus....think that is the only thing i will miss......and i only get 30mpg so not a great difference.

is the 06 a higher bhp as i know they revised it at sompoint?

It will be 296bhp - slightly more revs with slighly less torque compared to the 276bhp version - nothing much between the two. Trim updates are more significant. ;)

oh ok......thanks for the info.....

trim does look very similar though......

with the import 350z would you also advise not to bother with nissan and take it to an independant garage??

Over to a JDM owner now as mine's a UK car. From what I gather there would be no Nissan warranty on your import and you would be better off to go to an independent garage that's got a good reputation and would be far better price-wise - use the search facility for details. :thumbs:

oh ok thanks, thats what i thought though, got a few prices for around £200 for a full service with reputable garages near me. seemed reasonable enough.

 

anybody down near brighton can advise otherwise?
