Are you trying to convert your CDs to MP3 or save MP3's onto a CD? Just to be clear...

If its CD's into MP3, when you insert a music CD into your CD-Drive on your computer, Windows Media Player will offer to rip the music to MP3 for you. Its a very simple process.

If you're looking to burn MP3's on to a CD to play in your car CD player, you will need to use some software such as Roxio or Nero. I use Nero but the differences are all six of one and half a dozen of the other.

just use windows media player using the RIP function . It will convert music audio cd's into mp3 files (check the options to make sure its set a maximum rate 192)[/b[ Then brun a data cd using roxio

Unless you want a chance at hearing decent bass frequencies, in that case rip them all at 320kbps ;)

I hate MP3's, you lose the most important bit of the music IMO. Deep BASS!!!!
