sinbad Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Just to add to the confusion.. blues nice too Quote
sl114 Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 A nice flip paint could look good, but has to be subtle as i think they can look very tacky. Dark fantasy - MG SV colour, is amazing, black paint with a flip but subtle. Quote
sinbad Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Heres another pic of that black car Jay, see it can look good but you lose the full detail of the bumper, i love they way he's sprayed part of the bumper white though. clever! : Quote
dandan118 Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 I had a choice of black, blue & grey- almost everyone I asked preferred the black as did I- I think a black car may not look as good in a photo but in real life, polished up imo no other colour comes close to the black…..once you've had black you won't go back!!! I noticed white wasnt in your options. Now White is the 2008 colour , black is sooo last year Quote
nixy Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 the real point is that most of them look stunning when they are super clean and shiny. Mike's calendar pic in blue is stunning as are red and black cars and yes even rusty (sats car). Whatever you do it will look like @*!# on a day like today! I have had 7 black cars and they have all looked fab when clean but awful when dirty. Quote

Digsy Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Sumo Power pink? It would suit someone "curious" like Jay. Quote
Zedrush Posted January 10, 2008 Author Posted January 10, 2008 How bout no wheels and 2 bricks under each corner, that would be appealing to digsy Quote
Andy Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 You could always highlight pronounced lines with a lighter shade to almost give it a permanent "glow" Stepping away from the black but still keeping a dark colour, I have always liked the MG "Cadburys" purple they did or maybe the M3 purple?
