I have the below exhaust set up and it is very good but just a bit rasp on wot at 4000 rpm .

It is nice but sounds more angry than exotic at wot .

Dc sports 3-1 headers

Art pipes ( de cat pipes )

Miltek y pipe

Miltek center

Miltek rear box

I have been reading that a true dual exhaust takes away the rasp ?

Is this true and how does this work

Can you provide a video clip of what YOU would describe as 'rasp' ?

A ridiculously loud Honda sounds 'raspy' to me, and our v6's don't but yeah as Alex said that's possibly the culprit.

(although I thought those ART pipes didn't do that).

It's as soon as I changed the cats to hfc and then to art pipes .

This may just be the way the car sounds I will try and get a sound clip .

Hi mate .....'a true dual will solve your rasp problem ! Trust me I know !!

Ahh good news look like the spend is back on :)

Yes I get no rasp with my invidia Gemini true dual and Berk hfc's

I have a true dual and hfc combo and pass Thruxton noise test, the strictest in the country at 90db, but have also done Castle Combe with Andy James, supercharged running full Miltek and it sounds gorgeous, not a hint of rasp.

Time to get spending again then :)

Many thanks

One last thing is the invidia Gemini true dual over loud as I did like the miltek for it was not over loud .

My HFC rasp just as much as the ART pipes do with the Miltek ?

Alan

I have Cobra HFC's (well not for much longer) with the Miltek and I get rasp. It's worse when the car is cold. Doesn't bother me though, guess its a marmite thing.
