When I have tried this with previous vehicles it turns out completely matt When I did this on a previous car it dried to a matt-like haze, but a couple of passes with a rotary polisher made it nice and shiny. Anything that makes your rear lights darker apart from the bug eyes film is illegal...... The first time I did them when they were really dark, I think I would of been pulled and it wouldn't of got through a MOT, now with only a slight tint I'm pretty sure it'll pass fine. Would have to be someone really picking to fail on just that. I found I haven't had to change the bulbs at all there still fine and can be seen easily but it all depends on how dark you go. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
