Got the car back from the mot and happily it has no advisories 😬 gave her a good clean using dodo juice born to be mild, followed by some juicy details detail enhancer and wax, and tyresol tyres shine which I'm really

Impressed with, carbon fibre roof spoiler is on which I purchased from another member on this forum, cars coming along nicely I'm currently debating importing a genuine rocket bunny spoiler but weighing up the costs with the shipping and import tax. Here's a couple of photos of the car cleaned. 2b530ce0e7ad6ac5b6315e84d5d846a2.jpgc6b9b9c25609f91db6b973f28b9e8e98.jpg5571114c98b410217387eb84edc7c92a.jpg8d5077f787dbc79fa7dc182e9d02d3fa.jpg

My engine bay is nearly finished all that I need to do now is get the plenum painted which I plan to do myself, I decided to take all the engine plastics to my body shop guy rich at dv8 automotive in Kings Lynn, I gave him a small piece of vinyl and told him to match the colour the best he can, after going through a lot of paints he came back with a Chevrolet paint that was the closest match, I also brought the core brace from moped mark which is a great addition. Here are some photos of the finished bay. 3f3acc0984a6d973209bc6f679ef7216.jpg827cd89b1442e8453132903412d5c759.jpg126de566ab572b17aab1c125d80d6643.jpg

Decided to be a little different from the polished plenum and decided to paint mine. Started off removing and sanding with 80 grit and 120 sand paper. I found that the hose clips can be very akward and ended up cutting my hands to bits. 41859908ca0dff9cf445a3a68a6b28e5.jpg4d9bc8ad3259c99e87ba90d4e48e79eb.jpg192d895912319e1addec4c95db55caed.jpg

Incase your wondering what the little stains are around the plenum nuts I sprayed a little wd40 before I removed as they seemed a little corroded. (Before I put the aftermarket ones in) sanding then began followed by degreasing so just general prep before paint. 30e91427d00b07055f07ce9fc4a13b4d.jpgb1d3a183f1867af95fbfda5965bb1fd3.jpgbed133a4b4f18f13a3c1e32e7f1a3836.jpg

Now that it was sanded down and degreased it was dried and now ready for paint I decided on this spray paint because it was suitable for exhausts and engine blocks and temperatures up to 800*c and even oil and petrol resistant, four coats later and it was finished. 5ec477123e9531c574d4434d1352d71b.jpg1ad042e7387efd779c4db99fa7598f60.jpg
