Imacintyre Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 Has anyone tried the iPhone in a 350Z to see if the bluetooth works? Apple claim the bluetooth is restricted to only pair with its native headset but there are plenty of car owners who say it works fine with their in-car system. I just havent heard anyone mention the Z one way or the other. Quote

Imacintyre Posted December 15, 2007 Author Posted December 15, 2007 Thanks everyone, it will be interesting to see if it does. Unlike ir_fuel I like the handsfree system, its far from perfect but not having to attach other devices or have the oh-so-uncool bluetooth ear piece is one of those defining things that gives the Z just that extra bit of class. And it good to be here Quote
polarbear Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Who cares. The handsfree system of the Z is a pile of sh*t anywayz pardon I can see the mistake you are making --- you're supposed to drive at no more than 10mph and then it works fine With Apple's track record nothing would surprise me about some proprietary feature of their Bluetooth implementation Quote

The handsfree system of the Z is a pile of sh*t anywayz pardon I can see the mistake you are making --- you're supposed to drive at no more than 10mph and then it works fine Exactly. It lets you have great conversations .... when standing still at a red light .... and even then the pedestrians waiting to cross can hear every word the person on the other end of the line is saying ... And at 80mph it is completely unusable .. Quote
