ZeppoJeff Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Im having the chargespeed rear installed on my zed and the bodyshop have been in contact to say the rear button to open boot is going to poke through the bottom. How has everyone else mounted there button and lights at the rear? Pictures please if you could. Thanks Quote
Jetpilot Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 (edited) Tigersealed to the bumper, sadly, as provision isnt made to properly mount the boot release etc Sorry no pictures Edited August 24, 2015 by Jetpilot Quote
Scott TMN Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 (edited) I can't remember what my bodyshop did exactly, but I know they had the same issue. But I know they got round it, RT should be able to answer the queries, I know they were helpful for me. My bodyshop cut the bit out and somehow did mount it in the right place, though they did suggest rebuilding the number plate lights with individual LEDs and not cutting any of bumper. But anyway they got there in the end so I'm sure they'll work it out Edited August 24, 2015 by Scott_f91 Quote
WINKJ Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 ahhh good old tigerseal - a modders best friend Quote
ZeppoJeff Posted August 24, 2015 Author Posted August 24, 2015 Because I was looking for other ways people have done it. Quote
GMballistic Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Can't they just fabricate something to hold the button/number plate lights out of aluminium or something? ...then stick it in place with said Tigerseal or similar? Really they should be able to figure it out themselves imo. I mean good on them for informing you of progress/problems etc but it's why you're paying them surely so that you don't have to figure this sort of thing out. Quote
