fatrab Posted August 20, 2015 Share Posted August 20, 2015 (edited) Assuming you want a Scoobie-type burble, you'd need to play about with manifold lengths. I like my system deep and would love a burble where as the decats made it very raspy. Would stainless headers help? I know they are supposed to be a nightmare to fit though. dajw Posted August 21, 2015 Share Posted August 21, 2015 Mine burbles at idle and pops on over-run (even on the auto). I have the Motordyne art pipes and Ark GRiP system. I was told that an auto will never pop on overrun, but the torque tables plus map which errs on the side of richness seems to sort that out. To make mine pop is simple: hot exhaust, hold the revs high (about 3.5k or so) and just lightly go on and off the throttle. Pops every time. I suspect this might have a lot to do with the stiffer shifting from the torque management tables update in UpRev for the supercharger however. Mine popped on the standard exhaust + decats, it's just better with the posh system. It didn't pop at all before the torque tables were fettled with.
