  1. look good stew fancy doing another 4x4 soon??
  2. I wouldnt have thought it will make that much of a diffence if its UK or Import, it didnt with me 'mines an import'. If your ugly to insure then a group 20 'Z' is gonna cost you lots even if its UK. Theres an insurance company on here that gives discount to members, might be worth giving them a shout (Chris Knott) before you rule out imports as they have had a few good reports. on my import, chris knott matched the lowest quote i could find on a UK car for me
  3. that's aswell as the wolseley and beetle restorations! i vote for a big hello kitty face on the side and bonnet lowered with lots of black, pink and chrome, something so it wouldn't look out of place on the streets of toyko maybe a bit much though
  4. [quote looks like I don't need to indeed!
  5. no more products stew!! otherwise, it'll be the weekend gone and another tub of something in the garage!!

  10. mine wasn't inset into the dash as yours is, it was a silver - what looked like slim credit card holder - on the left hand side attached down the side of the centre console when you pressed the volume up or down it also said "quieter" or "louder" in japanese - quite cool! i didn't take it off cos i liked it!
  11. poor thing - looks a little startled!!
  12. i don't know i'm afraid - but to change subject - might you come to the potential KK doughnut meet near the Trafford C in sept? sorry to hijack!
  13. credit card size reader thats says ETC on it is the Toll Road card reader - probably for the toll roads in Toyko. mine used to speak to me in japanese each time i switched the engine on - saying something like - "dont forget to insert your toll card". there was also a volume button on the reader so yours might do the same if you turn the volume up!
  14. And we dont have this here? Why is Japan soo much ahead of us and that was in 2002! i also had the black small button saying "auto". No idea what it does though!
  15. It's only available in Japan - its like a network linked to your car -effectively you can get directory enquiries, TV ,Web, everything really - useless here this tells you more... http://www.itu.int/ITU-T/worksem/ict-au ... ikuera.pdf
  16. 54 plate black coupe also spotted yesterday morning on Water Street, Manchester tried to flash lights but was in a UK zed and after over a year in a JDM, all i managed to do was wash the windscreen!!
  17. said goodbye to the zed today after 18 months. was a very sad day and didn't want to sell, but the need for 4 seats is greater. i'm sure it'll be driven well and looked after though, as its gone to someone on here may even see it again at a meet in the future very very sad day
  18. try Omotesando (near Harajuku) on a sunday morning - don't know whether its a regular thing or not though theres Top Secret aswell, but not sure whether that's just GT-Rs

  20. what with the amount of shoes i need to take... they'd probably end up being a bit squashed!! not the most practical cars these zeds, especially for a week's worth of shoes and coats etc!!
  21. i've noticed them in a few supermarkets recently - can't remember which ones though ...no doubt stan will be along soon to confirm! can't believe he hasn't spotted this yet!
