Yeah this is my batcave i call work. I must be lucky to go to work and work on my car Have done both inside and outside of the wheel. Going to give it a test to see how the weather treats them. But they look sooooo nice im real happy

Yeah the first one was a bit rushed so i will be going over it again to make it look like the one i have done today. Will get the wheel polish and then they will be sparkling

The only way to connect to the bose stereo is through its fm transmitter. It uses SD cards i have only used a 2gb stick. Havent got a video of it booting but from a cold boot it takes 10 seconds but after that you can put it into sleep mode which then resumes in 1 second

Received the paint today....did a quick trial on an unwanted alloy......looks real nice. Going to do one wheel when i get home tonight...wish me luck... Going to look odd driving with one black wheel tomorrow :lol:

+1 - been itching for an excuse to mod mine. Currently has a massive 200GB drive in it which it doesnt need, will be good to see how the SSD runs as I've heard mixed reviews as to whether they are faster or not I don't think I have actually seen a review which says they are that much faster (maybe 5%) but nothing that 'normal' business will really expose. Will be intersting to see how it goes. The advantage of ssd disks in cars is the lower power consumption, no moving parts and faster data transfer (even if its marginal)

To be fair the drive is only 60 notes and i am going for no moving parts to maximize performance and stability. Plus SSD drives are fast as f&ck so should resume from sleep mode in an instant. The monitor is sweet too. 1 cable to run to the usb port which provieds power and touch screen

I have looked but i dont see a 03 one. It needs to be the one that retracts up into its self. I will be going on to a full carputer.....but its going to be real special and a real clean install using ssd disks for ultra silent and quickness. Once i get going i will throw up a step by step guide. Just need to get my existing one sold for funds
