  1. Hi Sunset, Do you have 3 blue hoses left? Cheers, Matt
  2. You can't compare the two but I bought one of those DIY engine flushes for my first car (a Y reg Mk 2 cavalier) I think it was called Redex. Anyway the kit destroyed what was left of valve stem seals and the car burned more oil than petrol after that! At seventeen years old it was hilarious as every overtaking manoeuvre would involve smoking out my victim, cartoon style! I doubt this is too helpful but it brought back fond memories anyway I haven’t touched an engine flush since. My Zed has covered 53k with FNSH and the oil looks good when I change it between services. Matt
  3. Hi all, As usual I'm day dreaming about my next modification.... There is some interesting reading on the TDI site about the Haltech ecu. A 350z with a Nismo exhaust recorded a 14hp/ 32 ft lbs increase at the hubs after installing a Haltech. I assume an induction kit, spacer and highflow cats could add further gains. Have a read: http://tdi-plc.com/blog/category/japan/ ... u-upgrade/
  4. Chris you old dog mate, you've not had it 5 days yet lol!!!!
  5. Have a look on sexstons http://www.bassjunkies.com/ You can get some decent single CD / MP3 player for 150 quid now
  6. Looks great Adrian, when you get the right wheels the Zed looks great in near standard form. I'm sure Beavis, Ian and Shire know where I'm coming from How far did you lower the car? Seeing this and Ian's thread I really want a front splitter now!! Cheers, Matt
  7. Cheers Dan, I'll check out the bigger store round the corner
  8. Hi all, I have bought some (used) satin badges to replace the front and rear Nissan ‘burgers’ currently on my car. As the new ones are used the adhesive backing has been removed. Can anyone recommend a good adhesive to use that won’t damage the paint? I thought about using some number plate sticky pads but the ones in Halfords are 5mm thick and the badge will look ridiculous… If I can find some thinner pads do you think they’re good for the job? Cheers, Matt
  9. Sure, I'm waiting for delivery at the moment but once they're fitted I will get some pictures up - might be a few weeks yet... Matt
  10. Hi, I have just ordered some springs and swaybars from Adam @ Z1. Despite the pound taking a worse dive than Cristiano Ronaldo I was still very happy with the price. I would love some KW version 3's too but it's hard to justify the cost at the moment... Matt
  11. Hey seanv1982, Don't use Glyn Hopkins, they are very expensive. They quoted me over 300 pounds for a P2. I ended up getting my P2 at West London Nissan, it's only 30 mins round the A406 and I paid 199 (for a P2). They are also very helpful i.e. the mechanic will actually come out and talk to you about your car. 517 Watford Way London NW7 2QR UK Sales: 0845 811 0350 Service: 0845 811 0417 Parts: 0845 811 0423 What colour is your Z, I thought I was the only Z in the village! 12. Mine was a bit, well scary when I first bought it.... And dreadful in the wet... I got rid of the cheapo tyres (purchased by the previous owner) and like Ian said I had the wheel alignment corrected. It was a different car after that
  13. Taken... I've been trying to source a red tommy K badge for ages now and it's not happening. Do you mind sending me a PM with your email so I can send you funds? Cheers, Matt
  14. This is a great piece of kit and really transforms your shift.. http://s484.photobucket.com/albums/rr20 ... 030693.jpg Get in!!
  15. Obvisouly someone else with a green Z
  16. Cheers, thanks mate.
  17. Hi Rob, Do you mind me asking, would you only need this: http://www.sextonsdirect.co.uk/steering ... 9-674.html To replace the UK Bose head unit and retain the factoty Bose amp/speakers? I was under the impression you needed more which is why I have not bothered. Thanks, and sorry to srobrien for hijacking your thread. Matt
  18. My standard nob vibrated a lot so the Dr prescribed a Nismo nob, this cleared up my condition quite quickly. Being serious (for just a moment) the Nissan OEM shifter is quick chunky and my Nismo one is very slim so this could explain why it 'appears' to not vibrate. I have seen this post before and it seems quite normal for the 276bhp cars. Matt
  19. Hi mate, Can I take the Hel Braided Brake lines off your hands? Cheers, Matt
  20. Hi Adrian, I was given these by Big Phil and kept them in a safe place... I don't know anything about this stuff so I'm just regurgitating the numbers! 21. Thanks guys, it was pretty simple in the end but a bit tight! I think I've got some grubby finger prints on the bulbs so I'll be repeating the process soon
  22. oops, sorry
  23. Cheers Paul
  24. Hi all, Is it tricky to change the front indicator bulbs? I have bought a set but there appears to be zero/no room to get behind the headlight unit?? Can you loosen the 4 bolts at the top to get some play? Please don't tell me this a bumper off job
  25. You can get them on Ebay guys, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/350Z-Nismo-Bodyki ... 240%3A1318 Matt.
