Hi all, I am in the process of making a moulded glass fibre/MDF sub box in the boot of my roadster. I am in need of some black carpet to cover the front which measures approx 75cm x 50cm. Does anone have any old spare bits that I could have to save me buying a big roll? Its doesnt have to be acoustic carpret just a black fluffy carpet to cover the flat MDF face. The Hoff.

Correct, they confirmed it couldnt be tubed today when I phoned them but they want to take a look and advise wether it can be sent back for a major repair rather than just a plug.

Didnt think of that, never tried it before Will ask Protyre tomorrow as I need to order a new one otherwise. Why not put a tube in it, get some use out of the tyre.

So I got a new set of 452's fitted last week and when I was out cleaning the car today the neighbour noticed I had a flat tyre. Rear passenger side flat as a pancake. Upon close inspection its got a screw embedded in it. Took it to the local tyre fitters who said it cant be repaired as it too close to the side wall. I thought as much as it stuck through one of the outer tread sections. Bloomin great, they have only been on a week!! Need to sort one out for Tuesday as he didnt have any in. So annoying and nothing I can do about it. Talk about frustrating. Sorry, just needed to vent. Will continue cleaning the Z now and try to forget about the £100 I have lost.

When I enquired to the experts regarding LPG on the Z they did not advise it as it causes problems with the valve seats apparantly. I worked it out that I would need to cover around 20K miles to make back the cost of the fitting.

As far as I know yes it is , from years 200 onwards. I dont think any suppliers sell it as a ready made item for the Z which is a shame. I am going to find one from a breakers yard and modify it to fit - project for the new year.

Looks like C-West style (but not C-west) side skirts with a stuck on front lip. Just needs a decent rear bumper and it would look sweet. ...not sure about the stick on petrol cap though

@ Sarnie. I dont think it looks too good on the hardtop but on the roaster I think it fits well.

Ekona - have you seen the celica spoiler fitted to a roadster? Will need to be made to fit but looks fantastic. Will post up some pics tomorrow if I get chance.

Has anyone uprated their anti roll bars? I found them a great imrprovement to my previous cars but havent heard much about them on the Z. Anybody tried them out, views/opinions? I have found them for around £150 each but its a lot to shed out. What about the drop links too - worth doing? P.s. Wasn't sure where to post this so please move accordingly. Cheers, Hoff.

Turns out that the connection I thought was ground (checked: 0 ohms to chassis) actually is the side light feed and goes high when the side lights are tuned on which means its the display dimmer for the stereo. Guessing that the stereo takes the ground from the ariel connection - will hook something up soon as I am without the head unit at the mo

Well I found the said fuse block and yes it had blown but replacing it didnt help as it just blew again. Think it must be something to do with the Kenwood stereo I installed as it was fine before that. Need to start taking apart the dash again now

Wow, I was just about to post the same question!! Same problem here, side lights and license plate bulbs are not working but non are blown. Checked all the fuses in the footwell and next to the battery but nothing is blown? Driving me nuts!!!! Edit: Mine is an 05 plate roadster

Ok this maybe a silly idea but thought I would ask.... If I cut out the centre silencer on my OEM exhuast and welded in a straight section would it make the exhuast note louder/deeper etc or is most of that work done by the rear box? Hoff.

I am a little further away in Gloucester!
