  1. I would love an INGS rear bumper like that but I couldnt believe the price of them!!
  2. Roadster for me! Already had my roof down many times this year and its only April.
  3. Yes sorry I did mean the Forrest of Dean. The Coleford garage for a P3 service and MOT was £250 The Glouceser one was quoting £350+ !!!
  4. I take mine to the Nissan garage out in Coleford. Head to Gloucester and then out the back into the new forrest. Its a bit of a trip but some lovely roads to drive on on the way and its cheap!
  5. Do you have bits of the door trim for sale? I need the silver handle trim from the passenger side and the control buttons cover from the drivers side. Oh and also the trim that goes over the passenger side sill, not the 350Z logo but the plastic curved bit?
  6. I just turned 29 last week but have had the Z for a year now. Bought a 2 year old scooby when I turned 21 and spent years and a huge amount of money tuning it to the nuts! After 7 years it became boring so got a rear wheel drive Z instead which is so much more fun if a little slower! I had a decently paid job but did loads of overtime which paid for the sooby and the house I now have a mortgage on.
  7. Check your service booklet, there should be a tick sheet from previous services which will show you what gets done. I think my P3 coming up with an MOT is £230 ish all in. Thats at Coleford near Gloucester, the main city stealership was closer to the figure you quoted.
  8. The exhuast is the ESR K1 with no bungs, surprisingly passing the sound test at only 97 dB!! Thought it would be much louder. I have been to Keevil before but not Colerne. Keevil is a good track but a little futher to go for me. Hope to see you at Hullavington on the 15th May. Steve - I never found myself on the track at the same time as the X-bow but watching it from the pits it seemed well quick!!
  9. So it costs 4 pounds from Nissan!! Blimey I did get suckered by that one
  10. Chris - Big DOH on my behalf, I looked in the announcements setion and looked for Wales Drive out. Little did I know I was looking at the 2007 thread!! Ah well, fair enough. I will see what interest I can gather from here and try the other UK Z clubs. I should be able to gather 10 in mixed cars buts a Z section would look really good. Depending on what take up I get for this date I may sort out another one for later in the year making sure it doesnt clash with other Z days out! Hoff.
  11. Yes thats the one but I got it from a different seller. I cant give you any pics as I have sent it back now. Unscrew your standard gearknob and imagine one fitted that is only half the height. See if you could live with seeing the top of the gaitor, if so go for it!
  12. It does fit as its the same thread but looks crap as it leave 40 mm of shaft () showing as the new one is about half the size of the original one. The leather gaitor looks crap as its not been designed to fit that way. You would need to fit a new gaitor with a tie top to make it look bareable and even then I dont think it would look right. It is a genuine Nissan part buts its the gear knob for the Primera not Z. I sent mine back.
  13. Chris, the Wales drive is on the 15th of April. The track day is the Month after? Just to confirm to all the track day is FRIDAY 15th MAY.
  14. Ian - This would be on a Friday Chris - Ah didnt realise it was that weekend. Will see how many are up for the track day as I cannot change the date. Tempted by the Wales outing but driving on the road like I do on the track is not a good may to keep my license!
  15. No takers? Oh, bugger. Thought there would be more interest to be honest.
  16. Hi all, Mods, please could you leave in general for a while to gather interest? After a great day out at Hullavington Airfield last friday I have been talking to the organisers, http://www.motorsport-events.co.uk/ , to see if they will do us a club discount for another date. They were unable to offer any discount on the rate for the day but would offer a free one to one training session from the instuctors for every club member - usually at a cost of £20. This is a 20 min session which you can split into two 10 mins sessions thoughout the day. I was intending on keeping the venue at Hullavington as they this is the only track where they currently offer the use of a car control area as well as full use of the track layout. The car control area is basically a large area of the runway that is sectioned off for use with one car at a time for 5 mins at a time so you can go nuts on the loud pedal, if you so choose. Drifting around the roundabout, winding through the slalom or trying to hold the 70mph sharp right turn. The cost for the whole day is £109. Hullavington is located just off J17 of the M4. Please check out google maps for a better idea. You need to have a full driving license and helmets are required, these can be hired for £10 a day if you do not have your own. Drivers briefing is at 9:30am and the track closes at 5pm. Apart from the track sighting sessions at the very beginning to learn the track its an open pit lane so you can go out as often as you wish. We would need at least 10 to get the free instructor training sessions so please put down you name if interested. I was hoping to get a group together by the end of march so the event date does not sell out. Once I have collected all the names I will pass this on to Motorsport events and then you need to ring them to book in and make payment. Please post any questions here or PM me. Interested peeps... 1) The Hoff
  17. Kings - was good chatting with you mate. I definately enjoyed the skid pan area too, so much so that my rear tyres chunked up and I got a puncture just before lunch. Ended up using my track day fronts on the rear and my road tryes on the front. We shall have to sort out another date in future and get some more Z's down there.

  19. Just got back from a great track day at Hullavington airfield. There was another couple of Z's there, not sure if it was anyone from here? They have even got a car control area seperate to the main track now so you can practice your drifting and high speed conering at no risk to other drivers and without having to come in when you spin. Having the chance to really play with the Z I have found how easy it is to control is on the edge and beyond!! Such great fun, bring on the next one. The company I use is motorsportevents.com and it cost me 89 quid for the whole day
  20. Straight from Ebay, 99p with 99p postage!! Just search for sub box port I worked out the approx internal volunme then used an online calculator to tell me what diameter and length of port to use. Turns out a 2" diameter and 120mm length will boost the 33 Hz by around 2dB which is great.
  21. 78 x 34cm if is available Needs to fit the MDF front....
  22. Yup still in need if you have some going, will get some precise measurements shortly. Thanks!
  23. www.motorsport-events.co.uk are the people I use. Got one on Friday at Hullavington, cant wait!
