  1. it's no azure is it mike!?
  2. I know as soon as you see one in the flesh parked next to the 350z it will make it look so dated and the 370z will look so I saw one at the autosport show and the design looks fantastic, really compact and muscular...a suspension drop, spacers and it will be one mean looking car.
  3. Fair enough, personally i do think it looks very good and when you compare against its rivals, namely the TT and Cayman i think its as good looking if not better looking than these cars and the fact it doesn't have the badge is a bonus for me. The only thing that puts me off is what they will be worth a year down the line but i appreciate all cars are losing money at a crazy rate at the moment. I look forward to your photos Stanski when you get invited down to Westway...i may just happen to be passing and call in
  4. You cant compare the two really, in terms of reliability, running costs, insurance the Aston would cost you alot more than the Nissan. Agreed on looks, performance, style the Aston wins hands down but then again its in different ball park for most of the people who will be putting their name down for a 370z.
  5. Literally a few minutes of them talking about it so you didnt miss anything really mate, just nice to see one sat there!
  6. +1 i would say 275 on the front and 295 is too wide and will spoil the handling
  7. shame they didnt drive it, but it looked fantastic and when it goes against the Cayman it will be one good test!!
  8. I dont mean change the tyre size, just the brand. I have 19's on mine and it makes hardly any difference so dont believe any of that rubbish. I run eagle f1's but people rate loads of brands on here. Pilots are excellent but pricey. My tax is £210 for an 04 car, it is set to go up but not up to £400 as it was meant to this year...phew!! Not sure if it depends which year you buy so check this. The boot is actually quite big its just the shape is a problem because of the rear strut. You can fit plenty of bags, shopping in it, its just rigid stuff like boxes that dont fit well because of the narrow nature of the boot and the sweeping boot lid. Go and take one for a drive and i guarantee you will love it!!

definitely worth changing, i find the std bridgestones pretty poor in comparison with others.
  10. Yeah it does (i hope ) In my opinion the heavy feel of the car helps the handling, because it feels so planted but when you push it, it becomes very agile and is a fantastic drivers car. You've got to watch it on a wet road but other than that the grip is brilliant (i find the std tyres rubbish but put some good rubber on and you'll have no problems) I use mine everyday, do about 20k a year in it and i never get bored of driving it, its a great cruiser but then turn off into some twisty roads and it becomes a proper sports car. Just go steady if you haven't driven RWD before, naturally its very different and takes a while to get used to it compared with FWD.
  11. they are quite a heavy car to be honest you'll get used to it after a few hundred miles. Its not uncomfortably heavy and now when i use other cars i think how horribly light the steering and gearboxs are. Its a mans car
  12. awesome cars but i hate that raspy exhaust note, i'd have to change the exhaust if i got one!
  13. I'm not sure if i should post up the price mate, the only reason they did him a good deal because they had his car for a week whilst they developed a system for the car with the aim to then be able to resell it to other m3 owners. It was very reasonable and far far far cheaper than any other aftermarket exhausts available for the m3. It sounds awesome too, we'll have to meet up there mate, maybe get a special price (2 for 1)
  14. I know just the place for you to stick your Nismo Sports sticker......
  15. 275 35 rear 245 35 front I have eagle f1's and they are brilliant but heard good reports about falkens too.
  16. Fair enough mate, i always find you tube really good for listening to different exhausts. I think if you you went for a nice milltek or magnex backbox you will get a more beefy note without sounding chavy.
  17. I would guess your better asking this question on a bmw forum where they will have knowledge of different sounding exhausts on the a 318.
  18. Hiya mate, How you doin? Yeah i thought you lived pretty close to these guys, i have been down before but never comitted last time. I take your point about an off the shelf exhaust but to be honest the only one which competes on price is the scorpion and i dont like the tailpipes.
  19. like em mate, although i have to say that because its the same finish as on my Nismos. Regarding the door handles, i asked them and they said they might struggle because of the thickness of the powdercoating which may upset the fitment of them. I am going to go down soon so they can have a look at them and i may get them done to match.
  20. Congratulations mate, no more free time to go on the forum
  21. I am thinking about having a custom exhaust built for the Zed, its a place in macclesfield called J P Exhausts Ltd, they have just done one for my mates e92 m3 which is on their website, really good bunch of guys, happy to tailor it so its just right for you. He tried a few different versions until he found the noise / volume he wanted. Great quality and good prices too! I love the Nismo noise but cant afford one so any tips of how the Nismo is put together to try and copy the system? Cheers in advance
  22. i didnt know these were rare, maybe i'll give mine a clean up now
  23. any pics of this GReaddy (gReddy) turbo conversion? what power figures does your Zed run?
