  1. That is trully a piece of art!!
  2. +1 . If you care about your tyres, raise the pressure. Otherwise the sidewalls will start being ruined quite fast.
  3. Fitted today my Yellowstuff all around, changing my 50.000km old pads! All I can say is that the response is miles better and although I havent given them any hard braking at all yet, following the instructions from EBC, they are really silent and as soon as I touch the brake pedal it is like throwing anchors!! I will come back with impressions after little bedding in!
  4. The only difference is that the original Nissan net is a double net that makes a pocket so that even small objects just stay inside!
  5. Really nice! Which tyres do you have btw?
  6. Oh my....Thats the best view in the universe as far as F1 is concerned!!! So jealous!!!
  7. After the plenum spacer mine idles lower at around 550-600 rpm. No roughness and no problems at all though..
  8. btw...isn't it illegal to go out on the roads with flashing strobe lights like a disco ball? I wish those losers to have many "happy" meetings with the local cops!
  9. Congrats mate! You have made a great choice, won't regret it!!
  10. Anyone else got sqealing problems with Yellow stuff? I am planning to install mine next week and would be useful to know what to expect!
  11. It was an event for all sorts of cars, even drift cars.
  12. Mine does exactly the same too! As said, little pause in neutral helps. Everything gets smooth after a couple of minutes!
  13. Very cool pics. Can almost see the smile on your face from here. Track time is fun aye. Definitely get yourself some race booties. They're generally quite a narrow width and sole (especially), so makes it easier for heel-toeing and a non-slip sole. That should help a lot. Also they're a lot more comfortable with the fastening points where they are and special lining, than driving in a normal shoe. Also try some proper driving gloves, improves your grip no end on the wheel, even on our leather wheels. Racing shoes are next in line to buy! As for gloves , I followed a suggestion of somebody in a forum and bought some nice cheap golf gloves that stick as glue to the steering wheel and gear lever!! Plus they look neat Next week on my way to change brake pads to EBC Yellowstuff pads, preparing for The Ring!
  14. How many km did you have on those discs mate?
  15. Welcome!! U can also save some money and buy yourself a brand new sparkling 370Z!
  16. I was also amazed how nice the stock exhaust of the Z sounds from the outside! Me being the only person having driven hard the Z, it is the first time I am hearing what spectators hear!!
  17. Hi guys Last weekend I had the opportunty to track my Z (at last!!) in Mantorp Park , Sweden. Mantorp is a nice big track, they even used to perfrom F1 races some decades ago! I was kinda nervous in the beginning cause I was surrounded by other, mainly track cars and drift cars but as the laps went by I saw that their attitude was really nice and the initial sense of danger soon was replaced by pure excitement My Z is pretty much standard with some little modifications with an Injen air intake, Plenum spacer and HEL brake lines and ATE brake fluid. Bog standard brembo discs and pads after 45.000km. All I can say is that both tyres and brakes held very well in the 15 minute sessions of the track event! Brakes were really hot after every session but very little signs of fade. What amazed me even more was the amount of grip the Z is capable of in the track...I tried some times to floor it in the corner to get some oversteer but the rear tyres were tied to the ground, instead there was little understeer some times. Of course I am not a drift specialist but I thought it would move the tail easier. Overall it was an extremely enjoyfull day and the Z held up really nice against some other much more powerful monsters in there! Only heel-toe braking is not so easy with Z's pedals...( I guess the 380RS gas pedal and different shoes would help immensely). Now I am looking forward to track it again, after I install my Yellowstuff brake pads, it seems the track-bug is well into me this time Next stop Nurburgring on July!! Here are some pics of my proud Z in the track On the pitlane! During the action! And a little video with my Z's pass ( Sorry for the low quality and awkward frame, my girlfriends fault )
  18. I already have the orange ones and I can say that the quality of those is top!! Excellent buy for the price!
  19. It all depends on how wide you want your tyres to be!
  20. If you hear noise while not braking then there must be sth wrong with the allignment of the discs - pads. Maybe check the installation again?
  21. I find it hillarious, but still wondering why no woman thinks it is even little funny!!
  22. its not that far a drive from sweden, jeremyy clarkson did it on top gear Actually my summer trip will run through Nurburgring towards Italy and Greece so UK sounds like a "small" deviation to this I was more interested in a ECU mail-in service to be honest!!
  23. Would it be possible for us outside UK to get such service??
  24. What is that extra little Brembo caliper btw? handbrake?
