I have that effect too, it's a little bit clever It does have a looper, but it's a bit of a faff to get to sadly (told you!) but it is really cool when you get it working. I need to explore that a bit more really, might have a noodle around tonight I think.

That's a p3, so a search for that should yield the correct results But basically it's everything you can think of

Definitely do Spa over the Ring next time, it's so much better, I'd rather do one lap of Spa than ten laps of the Ring

Must be some ex-owners on here, anyone fancy giving me a quick guide before I go and buy the first one I see? More after the general owning experience rather than the differences between years: What stuff needs replacing reasonably often (like the banana arm on the 350), any issues with higher-mileage ones to particularly be aware of that could give a big bill, how's the aftermarket support in terms of costs/variety etc. I've driven a few so I know they're ace, just want to go in eyes open before committing. Boxster I know, Elise I know, Stook not so much. Come mortals, spoon feed me your tasty Honda-flavoured goodness!

Oh man, you HAVE to do Spa! Imagine the drama of Anglesey, and the history of the Ring, and then combine them so you end up with something better than either. Just absolutely magical to drive, I so need to get back out there.

I had to google that model, never heard of it! Man, things have definitely come a long way Personally I really love the Digitech stuff, in terms of tone and options and definitely manufacturing I reckon they're right up there with the best. The only thing I think they fall down on is usability, as sometimes to do the simple stuff it takes an age whereas the complex things you never use seem to be really easy to access. The only thing I don't like on mine is that I can't have two modulating FX at the same time, so no chorus and flanger together for example. Not a combo I use often, but it would be nice to have the option. In fairness most other boards are the same, and I get that it's processor limited, it's just a minor annoyance. Whilst part of me would love an old-skool setup of actual pedals on a lump of wood, it's also a major cost and a major faff. For someone who likes experimenting a lot, then I would never be able to cope with something so 'limited' as a handful of set pedals. Each to their own though, if I had my own definite tone that never changed then I'd be happy to simplify.

Have you driven Anglesey before? It's my second favourite track, just behind Spa.

Sounds ace My RP1000 does the harmony stuff too, it's just a little more awkward to use as it wants to count in it's own way rather than something practical. Stuff like that has come on so much in recent years though, you're absolutely spot-on, my older RP6 used to have a go at it but the delay was horrendous

Step Children and relationship break ups....

And I know it's easier said than done cutting contact completely, but the quicker you do it the quicker you can have your own life back. Ultimately, that's the most important thing here. -

Ditch completely and move on. It never, ever works to keep seeing them if you're the one with the feelings. Ever. The lad will get over it. It's his mum's job to make sure he's okay, not yours: I know that seems harsh, but right now you have to look after yourself. If you're in no fit state, then kids will pick up on that and you'll make everyone miserable and him confused. You could write him a letter and try and explain things, but only you will know whether this is the right call and whether he will accept it. -
Although only if I don't set the alarm off again

I so need your bike.

How do you find the amp modelling on that? Do you run it via the Marshall, or direct to PC/PA?
-
That sounds a bit low to me, plus the noise test is carried out at 4800rpm.

Marvellous, cheers fella.

Marvellous, cheers bud. I was planning on giving them a call later this week so they can get a few ready for me, and then get there for when they open as I bet it's chaos otherwise How's the parking round there? Will prob take the Scoob rather than the Bummer.

Same with any car really though.

Heh, it was Andertons I was planning on going to as well, they seem to have the biggest range of stock within a sensible radius. Well, Peach are closer to me by miles, but their range isn't as wide any more and they've moved significantly upmarket in terms of what they offer. I'm not that good either, but having been used to £400 guitars for years and then getting the Mustang which was an £800 one, the difference was night and day and worth every penny. I don't mind spending the extra on something that's right, but only if it is right. You're definitely right about paying unplugged first, for me the thing has to feel 'right' in the hands as it could sound like an angel weeping tears of joy when cranked up, but if it's not comfy then there's just no point.

Not being funny mate, but you do this an awful lot and sometimes it might be nice to actually hear your opinion on things. There's no right or wrong, but it helps stimulate a thread if you do pass comment as well.

What do you think?

Dan isn't fussed if others are spectacularly wrong

Cat C is purely given on financial cost grounds to repair. Cat B is where things get cheeky with substantial damage to the main structure, hence why you can no longer register a car with the DVLA for a V5 (doesn't mean they're illegal to sell or own though). Cat C does not have to under a VIC inspection. That was removed about 18 months ago. No idea why you think a scratched car should be a Cat B

Because I take note of the latest beta gameplay. Less than one month from release, and it looks like that. Nothing in there is remotely fixable in time, especially given that many of the issues there have been there since the alpha. This is an absolute disaster of a game.
