  1. Come on the Snow!! (Sorry Folks, i love it )
  2. Correct! Still waiting for details to land, but have been made an offer. Initial training will probably be in Germany and Belgium while the farm is still being built. But eventually it'll all settle down and i'll be left with a one hour commute to Barrow! At least i'll look forward to going to work again, and thats the main thing isn't it?
  3. Perfectly normal
  4. Busy today Stan?
  5. Yeah, I would have definatly bagged and toweled that back end up though, especially as it'll be filthy later. The main advantage I found with dropping the forks out is that it all sits snugly inside the boot area, and with the luggage net on, doesn't slide anywhere. Especially useful for engaging with those fine Scottish A-roads on the way.
  6. That is all!
  7. *cough* Might buy one of them, sorry
  8. If it works mate, go for it
  9. Well unlike an Audi TT, there's no roof rack option, so beyond the odd custom tail rack thing, there's not really any solutions that recommend themselves. I normally just use another vehicle. (Go Panda! )
  10. Honestly Chris, Fives outnumbered every other bike by two to one! Anyway, I think I've got my eye on something else, and it'll be a bit more in my budget: Reported to be £899 for the frame with a Monarch shock (I'll prob get a Fox upgrade though) http://www.singletrackworld.com/2010/10/fresh-goods-69/
  11. Keep trying mate, they might see the light eventually....
  12. By other means? Not a bit of it mate ---> http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=38473&start=30 Where there's a will, there's a way!
  13. What a yawnfest! How about some nice bright shades Nissan?
  14. Nice wheels Chris, everyone will hear you coming now! I've been off to Glentress with the boys today - only problem is that Fran took the Panda to leeds for the day. So what to do? Bikes don't fit in a 350Z do they..... Some assembly required : All fits in though, bike, tool box, track pump, helmet and gear. Quite suprised myself! The main problem was having to drop the forks out of the head tube, but as it was a 6.00am start for a full day of trails, I didn't mind too much. It all fits! Rear view still available: On the trails: And confirming the Zeds bike van credentials, some mild off-roading! There is one other benefit of taking the Zed of course; making the most of some great driving roads in the area too, the day couldn't get any better than taking the A702 via Biggar on the way out, and the brilliantly West Highland-esque A708 on the way back. A must-do if you are ever in the area. Sorry about the ropey cameraphone pics! It was mostly quite dark too.
  15. If you just want office stuff and web, it just comes down to whether you are happy to pay the "apple tax" for the design, as an equivlent spec windows laptop or pc would be much cheaper. No real gaming on a Mac, and you only get one mouse button
  16. Dont blame me for your daydreaming Stan!
  17. Reset back to factory?
  18. Maybe more accurately: "Sellin' a motaar? Maaht be. Oo's askin'?"
  19. Jesus Nav! Hehe, well I think my contract runs out after xmas, so I might finally join the smartphone crew. Probably get a HTC though, cheaper the better! Maybe you can toss me your Jesusphone after next years macworld Stan, there's bound to be a new update out
  20. +1 Classic!
  21. Stans the man with the classy bangers. Just like our own Arthur Daley! Some of the 205gti prices on pistonheads are mental, aren't they a bit fragile?
  22. Clio had crossed my mind Stu. I think the rules will be; £2-3K, pref. small, cos of the narrow roads, although i was thinking about how an auto might not be too bad either, as it'll take an hour each way easily. Off the top of my head: MX5 Clio 172 Various Alfas! 147+156 autos are cheap! plus i found this: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2062686.htm Ford Puma (suprisingly cheap and plentyful actually) Smart roadster (too expensive, but inexplicably appealing!) Maybe giving way in the future to S1 Elise / MR2 a la Stan? or something cheap and thrashable like a Fiat 500/better Clio Of course, I havent even got the job yet!
  23. It's a bit rolly-poly for the road south, need some better seats in it or something. But yes, it is unstoppable! Especially in last winters alpine conditions: (Road Closed my arse!) It's a shame Fiat 500s haven't got cheap enough yet.
  24. Hehe, catch up mate: It's my GFs car though. We had it at moreton park on the October run on the Friday/saturday morning, but I think you didn't go to that one did you? Maybe the 100hp version, might still be too pricey though.
