Digsy, Have you tried the same type of getaway without the ESP on? Do the tyres light up? If not, just keep the ESP off... I find it a pain in the arse at the best of times.

Would look better without the rear wing IMO. Wings are all wrong on roadsters (any roadsters that is, not just Zeds)

Sorry but I have no idea if you should have LED's or not. There was a manufacture model change (facelift) in 06. You might have an MY03 car that was first registered in 06 or you might have an MY06 car that was first registered in 06... Or am I talking crap again?

Not many people on here have modded their power, apparently the Nissan ECU overrides any performance gains any mods make. Which means you need to mod it then change the ECU and get it mapped specifically for your mods. I'm sure some of the others will be able to give you more details.

I hit a dog once in a 200sx I used to own. Damn thing went flying down the road, got up and ran away. I chased after it because I wanted to know who owned it in case there was damage to my car but the flipping mutt got away. Fortuantely, other than depositing a load of hair around one my fog lights there was no damage. Glad to hear that the girl was OK I can't think of anything worse than doing some serious damage to a pedestrian in my car, especially a child.

Dave - I might just do that closer to the time of selling it Tim - I've done that on previous cars and you're right, it does work well. With the Zed though, I have a feeling I'll be out there after every journey

What do you lot do with the stone chips you inevitably all must have on your Zed? I've used a touch up pen on a couple of bad ones but I am slightly reluctant to touch the little ones up (Ooh er) as I think it looks worse afterwards. This could just be me doing a crap job mind! I don't want the paint to get damaged more so than it is with the chipping but I also don;t want my car to be covered in blobs of paint and laquer. Everytime I clean it I find more, some of them are in places I can't even figure out how a stone got to!

Yeah mate, its just a stopwatch that you can start/stop with a button. Technically you could measure 0-62 times with it but as 3FiddyZ said, its not exactly been ergonomically designed...

I couldn't be certain but I've not heard that any of the models do that. I'm sure someone with an 05 or 55 can set you straight.

You can unlock all the doors by pressing a button rather than inserting a key and twisting. Is this what you mean or are you thinking about those systems that unlock the doors as the key nears the car? Mine doesn't do the latter but then its a 54-plate, not an 05.

I can just see Photobucket getting filled up with photo's of the on-board computer

I'll certainly try ans wash it every weekend (weather permitting). I wax it about once a month.
