  1. sorry to hear this mate - take care
  2. Cool! thats roughly what I want to do next year in my roadster! Driven in France before- absolute doddle - fab roads but takes you hours to get anywhere even on the toll roads (which are excellent btw) just because its such a large country! Food and wine obvisouly excellent even in the smallest backwater potting shed service station! (Lorry stops are cheap and very good btw) Most petrol stations are now credit/debit card automated so dont worry if you cant speak da lingo! Spain on the other hand I dont know - but I do know they have the highest death rate due to muppet drivers so be ware!! I used Speed ferries - Dover - Bologne - cheap and easy to get across Think there are some posts on here about driving abroad - do a quick search, Let us know how you get on and plenty of pictures please
  3. enjoy it -weather really good this week - top down all the time - only way to go !
  4. Hey another roadster owner - yeah! When you get it pictures on the forum please
  5. After 1700 miles around Scotland and Hoon run, then 2 weeks of driving to work and back 1400 miles, washed the Zed last night! Have discovered its actually blue coloured and not sh** brown! Blackfire waxed prior to long trip and the thing just washed off dead easy in 30 mins - car was spotless and back to its swirly self again! Even the Wheels after being treated with Poorboys and black with brake and dirt dust washed off mint and shiny with a sponge and wash/wax! Of course took me 30 mins to wash the wheels alone (those damn dimples on the spokes !!) Never buying cheapo highstreet brands ever again!
  6. Cheeky bu****s Your only jealous - bet your Zed does'nt bake cakes as it drives! Dont forget at Xmas I also have to fit the illuminated minature Xmas tree!
  7. Since Nissan are tight with their 12V car adapter sockets in Zed's I spotted this little gem and promptly got one for my van! Just a plain but heavy duty 3 female plug 12 Volt socket adapter thing with 2 metre wound cable, and rocker on/off switch, they even provide you sticky pads or screw fittings! £2.99 - think it was on offer last Sunday but they have loads still (well defo in Mold Wales branch!) I am sure Poundland do them also but I was passing so took advantage!
  8. Dont worry about the route - just follow me (everybody generally does!) then we go and have a magical mystery tour - thats the fun of the Wales run its different ever time!
  9. No the photographer was in the car at the time!! Stew's is so low even Ants have to duck when he is driving!
  10. Sorry to hear about that. I think most carriers give you the option to report a problem after the delivery has gone and your also protected by the Trading Standards stuff - also there is that online buying cooling off period thing also - sorry not very techie woth this stuff! Did you buy on credit card? You should have some protection there too? Basically they have sold you goods that are not up to the standard as described - they should offer you a full refund within 28 days, they can mess about and blame the carrier but personally I would just get the money back and not use them again! Good luck with it Go to the Citizens advice or your local trading standards office .
  11. Wow! Jay had a similar bonnet a couple of weeks ago - Ebay? or ESR? Now if you can make number plates vanish like that immediately before speed - ahem I mean, - safety cameras - your on to a winner!
  12. Well the Zed tends to make people move over on the motorways with its reflector fangs but I guess the GT-R will scowl at you from a distance!
  13. I was just stupid and flew over them at 80 on the glasgow meet!!
  14. Thats probably because they film it in Manchester - and Newcastle and Brighton - you can see a pattern here cant you!!
  15. oi! cheeky but your probably right!
  16. On the way from the Hoon I spotted a few MX5's with groovy boot racks and thought some could fit the Zed roadster - trouble is the load must be spread as the boot is plastic! Will keep an eye on this tread!
  17. Chichester eh? Hmm used to drive around there - mate used to live in Billingshurst now moved to Worthing - is Worthing a safe Zed town? I intend to visit him soon?
  18. All life is on this forum is'nt it !! Who needs google!!
  19. I think it was more to do with bald tyres and lacking in brake pads!
  20. Yup me too - in the office working late tonight - boo! At least it will pay for the petrol for Wales Looking forward to your Ed review
  21. Zoiks!! 25 cars already!!! This is looking good folks! Now what about the other 25?? (we had last time?) As an aside - they have reworked the A494 (from bottom of the M56) quite substancially but hopefully it will a lot easier now without traffic lights to hold us up and break up the convoy
  22. Looks great - can I please bring mine to yours so you can wash it for me Led's inside?? Are they a straight swop for the normal bulbs??
  23. How did you enjoy Edinburgh then Colin?? Weather was great was'nt it? We stopped off and had a bite at Harvey Nics - outside, spend some time in the gardens near Princess street, ice cream then home to rain! Really missing Scotland............
