  1. Always hated electric windows this time of year - never used to open them until the car had defrosted - which can be a pain! could be worse some of the early Audi TT's used to open their windows at 03:00am in the morning for no reason! ha ha ha
  2. Bet the pinacolada's still taste better over there Mart Enjoy yourself
  3. Thanks for the info but please dont tell me that I dont have any money! We talked about a holiday to Japan in the not too distant future? Tempted to buy one while over there - used to cost £600 to ship in a container? But exchange rate is pants at the mo. I used to have a Figaro -it was a rare 1 little old lady owner, minter and for a micra based vehicle it was great .The Pau is a lot slower and heavier - see one once in a while on M56! I used to recover Figaro dashboards for the guy who imported mine, so have a bit of knowledge on these. Not that keen on the S Cargo but as a practical fun car for the right money the Cube is pretty cool. Just remember a lot of these smaller cars cost about £3K over there so why they end up being £6-8K here is amazing
  4. and no Pizza delivery stripes on that one!
  5. Eek not seen one of those - is it an Abarth jobby? I did see the 4x4 version of the new Panda as a Police car 2 years ago when skiiing at Selva Val Gardena - looked quite funny! Hmm wonder if a V6 would work in a Cube? Stiffen the shocks up though and erm new brakes and......
  6. matey - hey a fellow Lancashire lad - by gum! Nice motor you got there btw As Bronzee says a lot of Zed bargains to be had at the moment, probably get one free with a packet of cronflakes! Hope you find one soon
  7. They were thinking of importing the Cube officially to the UK this year but worried that it may be a bit to weird for the UK market and the plastic interior too plain! Ha ha ha ha ! Would be tempting in the future as a city car if I ever get a job back in the burbs!
  8. Well each to their own mate -but are you turning all corporate on us already!
  9. What!! Thats another review I hav'nt seen about a car I like?? Well if I did'nt need the van I could quite fancy the newer 2006 models? Black with tinted windows!
  10. Just curious - what are they like to drive? I hear they are dog slow and wallow about but its a city car at the end of the day? So any info - does anyone have one?
  11. Maybe it wont be as popular as ours and prices will hold a bit better for 350's and plumett for 370's!! (well I can dream) Anyway lets see what they look like - as much as I not a big fan of the GT-R I'd rather have that if I am honest!!
  12. Ebized - 1 Pingu2 - 1 Andy - 1 Ian - 1 Marzman - 1 or 2 Murdoch - 1 Lexx - 1 (maybe 2) Chris`I - 1 adncd - 1 Stew -1 or maybe 2.... Stanski - 1
  13. Looks pretty damn good to me! Now get out of work early and go for a decent run out! Enjoy it matey
  14. ha ha ha so all the people in Japan are obviously gay? Crickey thats a whole lotta of gays! Ah go for it you know you want one! Anyway back on topic - hope job is everything you want it to be mix with the celebs etc etc ...bit like on this forum!
  15. Thanks Bronzee - will do - little rascals all covered in road poo - but dare I say it I can still see the swirl marks through it all and the Blackfire wax is doing its work underneath it all! I expect the Poorboys wheel wax is also there protecting the alloys from the grit the put down the other night!
  16. I agree I think its the higher bods up the food chain should get kicked not the presenters - but they are stupid for thinking it was a good thing to do at the time!! RX8 handles on rails and yes drinks worse than a Zed! But practical! Other option is: (one of my faves!) Nissan Cube - cant pull skin of custard - but bags of room inside - handy for top end execs such as yourself somewhere for the briefcase and kiddy seat!
  17. RX8 it is then - buy them for peanuts, 4 seats, boot - go like stink!
  18. Why do I get the feeling this thread will run for ages.... To be fair I have heard both good and bad from both camps(no pun intended) re: mini and 500? Other than my head touching the roof in the fiat the build is very good and far more nicer and interesting than the mini -but other half is ex mini owner and she loved it! Louis there is always the Daihatsu Copen
  19. Don't know Stan you tell us? What do i do, i love the zed but do i not buy one because i might not use it every day? Or do i leave the money in some bank that may lose it? Well like I said its a different situation for everybody? If I had to park my car in a place that I would consider dangerous to its health such as yours mate then I agree I would'nt risk it for the same reasons but use it the rest of the time every chance I got? On the other hand I hate the fact that I am already 3 services down the line in less than 12 month of ownership and fresh set of tyres, but as we all know the way it puts a grin on your chops when you drive it! I suppose your chops have an even bigger grin when you drive it at weekends! Forget the money aspect just enjoy it? I have decided not to use the Zed but the van on weekends now unless its a special trip. Its great as nobody parks next to it and nobody cares if you decide to do a 360 in the middle of the road for no reason - they expect it !!
  20. Yes everyones situation is different. Like squarehead I am lucky to use mine everyday but that was the intention from purchase. Only worry is it is being hammered a lot quicker due to my high miles so I try to use the van a bit more now. Down side is like you guys have said - when I see the Zed parked up and I am using my van I think why am I paying all this money for it and have it sat on the drive?
  21. Wow that looks stunning! Hey more pictures please - they look like dealer shots? Try to meet up with the Glasgow gang they are a really nice bunch Jay likes to spend hours doing his hair to ensure he looks just right in the Zed Adam has a passing interest in photography with little compact camera snapping away as he goes Luke is the Gentleman spy - crushed velvet jackets all the way! Just kidding gents... Dont hit me!
  22. Congrats matey - well done Hey leave his Fiat 500 alone - its a cool car - they are dare I say it actually well made (Made in Poland not Italy) yes they are cutesey but a damn site better than mini's or retro Beetles! Just dont get stripes on the side or you'll look like your delivering Pizzas!! Come on try and shoehorn a nice V6 in there!
  23. Not unattractive but not the best in my opinion Really dont like that rear quarter panel (squashed side window) area? Does'nt flow well ? Your average 10 year kid can do a better line than that! Happy to stick with the good ol' 350 swirly paint fella! Future classic in the making
  24. Lucky buggers! Well enjoy all that waxing and washing etc etc - although I think you need to be careful more with washing machines though Beavis (Doh sorry could'nt resist!) Just make sure you take the little fella out once in a while? Like most cars they dont like to be kept asleep too long - things seize up easily!
