Damn you sussed me out - I'm actually the bloke in the purple shirt!
Dont you have a key to wind those up and an elastic band for the auto roof operation!
Plague or Roadster owners? Hmm surely its a Pride or Roadsters or is it a gaggle of softtops!
Yeah yeah yeah - hey what do you mean Bauldy bits Jay!
Air-con takes ages to get going once you get in your hot tin boxes - while Hair-con works within 20 seconds!
Your right the 350 is a future classic . Remember all the cars at the show were in their time just normal everyday cars. Fashion, design and rust have made them rare. one day zeds will be rare just like allegros and Bedford campers.
Well Mike there is always next year and I think another in autumn? they had the local fate on also which was a bad mistake of timing if ever I saw one !
yes it was a good day out very very hot in fact we left early as we both felt a bit too hot!
Those pics are ace btw - we went with purpose to buy bits for our Wolseley and more to the point reference pictures to see how stuff lines up on the body and interior detail shots! I was a little disappointed to be honest as the selection of cars was'nt as varied as past years but good all the same.
We are hoping to show ours at the Wolseley Stand maybe next year you never know?
Will upload some pics later today. Some of those Classic Mercs were fab but I think my fave car was actually that Bedford camper van (think I am getting old!)
We went to the Classic car show today to see what bits are missing off our own Wolseley 1500 and of course to look at all the nice motors.
I will spare you the really old stuff - i.e Jags MG's BMC group etc etc but spotted some Jap tin!
Hope you like the pics?
As a kid in the 70's this was the only car on the estate (except for an orange BMW bubble car!)
Never seen one of these Datsun tanks before - handy for ram raiding
Love this - very Dodge like
Even at Classic shows you always get a really horrible looking dog!
Does anyone know what this Honda is? Looks a bit Suzuki Cappuccino?
Very cool
Slice of cheese anyone?
Chav tastic pink number!
Rare Sera (although starting to see a few on the motorways recently) talk about mobile greenhouse!
Honda S2000's dad - tempted to buy one of these once but they are tiny!
Armstrong Siddeley Sapphire - I used to have one of these as my daily car - fab car but the most unreliable piece of junk I ever owned (not long afterwards I discovered Jap cars!)
Bedford doormobile - handy for Scottish Hoon trips!
Who knows in 10 years time we will have to put a stand up next to the MR2 owners clubs and MX5 owners clubs I think!
If we still have petrol in 10 years time!
ooh fighting talk! To be fair its the most rock solid ragtop ever - no scuttle shake and feels as good as the coupe - yes it does'nt look as nice with the roof up but each to their own eh - I have even got used to its big fat ar** !
Think he was pulling your chain anyway bud
Twas indeed just kiddin mate! Anyway whats wrong with ragtops - dont be such a car snob! Some of the best people on the forum have ragtops !( Come on Mart back me up!)
I'm sure you will get a 350 soon enough - good luck with your search
Looks excellent matey but that clay just looks like chewing gum!
Your welcome to pop round to clean ours if you like! I use Wonder Wheels (Get it at costco by the Gallon) excellent stuff but very evil so be quick with water otherwise it will rip your varnish off!
Thanks matey.
Welcome to the world of Zeds where handbrakes are renown to be cr**! Although the pre '07 models are easy to adjust from inside - the new ones I am not sure how as yet - but its good to have seperate handbrake and rear disc setup - makes like a lot easier!
Ok this thread is starting to freak me out now!
Especially as we DO have an official cross dresser in the office (well gender realignment) I guess would be a more apt term!
