After helping Tara with the final touches on his Camaro, suspension, bumper, skirts & a few other bits & watching the car 'transform' over the last few months I can honestly say 'I WANT ONE'
The presence it has on the road is awesome, Adrian does a great impression
Also my video should be public now
Sorry to see that your head gasket has gone. Quite unusual on the VQ35 NA I'd be wondering why the head gasket has failed, perhaps it's related to the over heating issue, if there is an airlock in the block you get hot spots that warp the head & allow for the gasket to leak.
Yes theres been a lot of blood, sweat, swearing & plenty of laughter, & after all that Octet gets all the credit
The twin setup is going to be awesome!!!!!
If the timing is out & you haven't taken the engine apart your engine is screwed & you will need more than a timing chain.
What codes is the car throwing? Have you tried resetting the codes since you messed around by pulling plugs/sensors out?
There are 2 cam sensors on a V6, did he replace the right one?
What have they been doing then?
Even us the said 'tribute band' know 370s, from exhausts, suspension, gearboxes, to engine mounts, supercharging, fuel systems & electrical parts
Yeah Bennet must have wrote the instructions for changing glow plugs on a seat (remove the cylinder head to access the glow plugs....... WTF) I thought it was going to be a 30min job & it ended up taking 55mins it was almost as if Bennet was here arguing about how it should be done :bang:
I don't think jacking the back up is going to make much difference, when y0u fill the system you are always going to get a some air in the system, so long as you have the heater set to hot & fill the system slowly you should eliminate most of it. The rest of it should find it's own way out through the expansion tank. As the temp rises the air in the system will rise in pressure & ill be released into the expansion tank & when the system cools water/coolant will be sucked back in
