  1. Sorry your camera is so CRAP I couldn't se it I've never liked the t-clamp style clips, remember the argument I had with Bennett over them. Then of course I went & fitted them to my own car 2 years later
  2. Hope the rest of the GTM branded stuff holds up to it's usual good reputation. Oh & I hope your going to fit some grommets to those wires you have pulled through the firewall
  3. Finished result is good & doesn't intrude into the cabin as the generic ones do
  4. Adrian would have to rebuild 20 cars for Darren to repay all the time Darren has spent on Ady's Zeds True story, but after close inspection of his work on the sound deadening, I'm impressed, he just needs to come back & do the rest
  5. and then throw it in the bin Bonnet definitely looks better in carbon even coming from me
  6. Because the weekend before is busy, wedding anniversary or something Oh yes we usually go to Wales to celebrate your wedding anniversary, I'll put it in my diary
  7. It's basically an un-branded dynamat, so hopefully along with another layer of stonechip, some decent carpets & acoustic foam(behind the vinyl) it will be affective.
  8. Well what a great Valentines day, me & Octet tag teamed an old lady Of course I went on top, gave up trying to fill & block the individual low spots on the roof so applied filler to the entire roof & started on blocking the whole thing at once to try & get the best possible shape Then Adrian got in the middle, not sure what he was doing Oh thats right he was scratching up the primer & blow drying Not sure what happened here, might have been something to do with Henry??? But after lots of templating, some priming, plenty of hot air (mostly from Bennet on FaceTime) Adrian had managed to do a great job of the sound deadening Whilst I spent most of the day block sanding the roof, cill & wings. I think I'm almost there with the roof so added a thin layer of stopper in which I'll rub back with 180 in the morning So all in all a good fun day with the old girl
  9. I doubt i'm even 10% in with the body prep so what can I say, 'you know where I live & I know how you take your scotch, I mean Tea' Bugger  I'm busy this weekend and next weekend but can come down 28th if that helps? I'll let you know as I may be going to Vegas at the end of the month
  10. Never mind drive it, I'm worried to death about chipping or scratching the paint just building it back up! Anyway enough doom mongering, keep up the great work mate. Ahaha I already done that, spent 2 days doing the rear end & then when I got it back on the jig I put a dent in the rear valance with the engine crane
  11. Fantastic news on the bonnet (well not having to fork out for a new one that costs as much as a half decent zed & I love the support dollies, I'm planning to use some insulation foam & shape it with an old jack saw Keep up the great work
  12. Wow your getting some stick over a couple of straws, bloody keyboard warriors on here So have you finished it yet? could have done a couple of engine transplants in the time it's take you
  13. In the garage most evenings & weekends Oh & apparently the outside of your house looked like 'A scene from Cars' a couple of weeks back
  14. Thanks, I certainly hope so, I also hope that I will have the balls to drive it :
  15. I doubt i'm even 10% in with the body prep so what can I say, 'you know where I live & I know how you take your scotch, I mean Tea'
  16. Little update, I managed to get the rear end filled, block sanded & etch primed whilst it was down on the Octet wheels, then it was time for it to take flight again Then the mass paint removal got underway & the last week has been all about getting the lines right & learning a lot about block sanding. I learn't that I frigging hate it, it's so boring, dusty & tedious. Then when finding another low spot after all that work it's time to do something else. So got the sandblaster out again to finish the door shuts, followed by some primer Then tonight after not being able to face any more rubbing down I decided to scratch up the underside, mask off the rest of the car & get some stone chip on guess it's back to the sanding now
  17. Cool, what are you going to do with the other 3000 of them?
  18. No he uses straws & he is building a V8 350z, hope he is using the bigger maccy D straws for that
  19. Sam the intake system was pressure tested to 8psi upon installation & held everything with no leaks ( what has happened since then who knows) & the MAF is an UPREV GT from what I remember Speaking of MAF's have you kept the Air filter clean Ian? I know on my 350 that the filter dirtied quickly & seemed to affect the responsiveness.
  20. What are you suggesting Grundy? The replies are relevant to Ian's previous post suggesting that the problem could be a result of the fuel dampers not being there. I'm not sure where he got this from, but that doesn't matter. Were just trying to help out as normal. Re-assuring him that the fuel dampers were never removed as the stage 0 kit utilises the OEM fuel rails & dampers. So I'm sorry for 'resorting' to adding what I thought was a positive input to the thread, what the hell do I know?
  21. A bit of a stab in the dark but perhaps it's a failing coil pack or shorting out due to oil leaking from the rocker cover seal on the passenger side. Have you inspected this? I know we mentioned the leak & cleaned up the excess oil when changing your plugs.
