  1. Funny website. I like this one! http://www.photoshoptroll.com/wheel-replacement/
  2. Thats a shame... i reckon i'd have bought a set of 2nd hand rays if i could have had them finished in that.
  3. I used to despise the fuel prices, until i drove to the ring and realised we're signifficantly cheaper than most of europe. I was overjoyed to come home and pay £1.42 a litre!
  4. Can this finish be applied to used wheels, supplied by us? For example if i sent you my winter wheels, could you strip and refurb with this finish?
  5. Does anyone else get calls from claims companies saying they have details that you've had a car accident recently? I've had 2 of these calls recently, and they dont appear to be cold calls, as they say they have had my details passed onto them that i've been in an accident, which i haven't. I asked them for clarification on what details they have got, but they just said they dont have specifics other than i've been in an accident. Does anyone know if there's a free online register where i can check my car registrations to see if any accidents have been logged against my reg (i.e. if my car's been cloned?)
  6. Loving the lighting

Ha ha, i know what you mean. I kinda wish i didnt love the zed so much, as i'd buy one of these in a heartbeat... but i cant sell the zed. I need both. ...plus a Merc as well. I've had this one 18 months actually. Nah im planning on keeping the zed indefinitely... but there was just a moment where i could see myself in this. Whilst looking round it, all i was thinking about was your story... kind of put me off ever getting a car of that type anytime soon.
  9. Ahh... this sounds like the same issue that my mate had in his Leon FR. His garage kept telling him to go for a drive etc... he had the issue for about a year before fixing it, and it cost him about £1100.
  10. Painful, but you'd never be paying dealer prices anyway. I'd rip it all out and fit aftermarket springs and dampers rather than fix that, and another one goes in a few months time I keep hearing about this DPF filter problem on VAG cars... gonna have a read about it, but i certainly wont be buying one any time soon.

So i stopped in at a new garage near me today which ive been meaning to for a while... they have some interesting cars on their forecourt at very reasonable prices Anyway, had a look round... they have a leggy 02 CL500 at less than £6k, which is a bargain (http://www.chromemotors.co.uk/used-cars ... 8402435889) They had a couple of AMG Sport C-Class's which is what im after, but these were above my budget... and then i saw this http://www.chromemotors.co.uk/used-cars ... 6484169950 80k on the clock, £12,995. It looked in fantastic condition in the flesh, and i was walking round it for about 5 minutes wondering if i should swap my zed for it. In the end i walked away, but it was almost a game changer... still could be. The pictures dont do it justice...
  12. Okay here is the full service manual. http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/350Z/coupe/2007/ Start with idx.pdf as this is the index, and quickly scanning through, section AT.pdf covers the VSS system.
  13. Although to be honest, it's probably a completely different loom if you've got an HR engine and not a DE.
  14. What are you trying to do? You'll need to fit something like the HKS Speed Limit Defencer to override the JDM 112mph limit if thats what you're talking about?
  15. ...and 9 too.
  16. 6, and 12.
  17. Looking really cool. Love the black accents, and that exhaust.
  18. See my guide for fitting a head up display to a 2003 found here: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=18962 I dont know if this VSS (vehicle speed sense) wire is what you're after to sort out your problem, but this is the vehicle speed sense wire as requested.
  19. Sod it, never mind - i've just bought a Dell Inspiron 15R i5-2450M with 4GB Ram for £340.
  20. Hi guys, So im on the verge of buying a new laptop. I use my laptop for at least 4 hours a day, just general use, with the exception of doing some HD video editing every now and then. My current 4yr old laptop is cripplingly slow when using the video editing software, with it taking up to 6 hours to process a 15-minute video. So, i've told myself that i should get an i5 powered laptop, with a minimum 4gb ram. However, does anyone have any first hand experience of doing video editing on an i3? The price difference is quite large (£250+ for an i3 vs £400+ for an i5). Cheers Chris.
  21. Awesome!!
  22. Would you mind posting the link to where this offer is available please Squee? I like doing short track stints as it's not nearly as bad for the car as a full session, so i'd definitely be up for this sometime.
  23. Yes, i do have it! Switched it on this morning and it lights up, so im guessing it's all present and correct. Just need my car to ice over now!
