  1. A sleeved block mate has the stock nissan cylinder wall machined out and a steel liner "sleeve" inserted. A company called Darton. Running high BHP normally means running high boost pressure. A sleeved block can take alot more boost pressure than the stock item but most sleeved engines run into cooling problems due to the reduced cooling around the cylinder walls. The stock sleeves will take not far off 1000WHP where as a few years ago people thought is would only hold 600Whp and the stock sleeves would fail.
  2. Guys if every one is ok we can meet at Grimston Bar, Grimston Bar Park and Ride (SW-bound) Its off hull road A1079. Its about 2 miles from elvington but its about the only place thats easy to find and get every one togerther before we make our way into TOTB. Every one ok with this??
  3. Guys its not like we can just have a club pitch, check what the web site says. http://www.totb.co.uk/car-clubs/ There are only a hand full of cars that are not competing in the show ground. Most from traders and last years club show winners. sorry guys if you lot thought this was like most other car shows. Its a motorsport event not a show.
  4. No guys its not looking like were going to be able to get a club stand. The last event did not have much in terms of club space its not your normal show so most people leave the cars in the car park and then watch the events. Ill post up a meeting point and we can sort out a time for those of you who are still coming. You can bring your own fold out chairs and food/drinks and fingers crossed for nice weather! There's nothing like the sound of anti-lag in the morning!
  5. Guys ive emailed the the TOTB site to see if we could get some club parking but have had no reply. Im still going guys but if we meet outside the event at least then we can all park togerther. Ill sort out a meeting point or just use the one we had last year that nixy picked.
  6. LOL did my post get removed ??? lol..
  7. I had the same thing happen to me. The slave cylinder seals failed and the clutch pivot fork snapped off. hope it just needs a bleed mate.
  8. LOL.. as Nixy said above last year the wether was so hot! I was just like a scene from the fast and the furious at race war's! haha.. Bring fold out seats BBQ's ect. and loads of drinks as all the ice cream vans and trader stands sold out of drinks last year due to the heat!
  9. Any one else for this event 1: Djtimodj. 2: Shire 3: Wizard 4: 5:
  10. my stoptech brake groves face forwards like yours. the way to tell is to stick a pen or somthing in the air viens in the center of the disc. The pen should face to the back of the car which shows the cooling fins inside the disc are spinning the correct way!
  11. That was great info, very impressed with what you've done. Where did you get your Cusco ARB's Envy performance via Sarah. I would recomend the Powergrid endlinks to go with them too! z1 sell the endlinks.

  16. Guys im looking to see if we can get some interest from the club for a meet at TOTB? I went last year and have a fantastic day! Top speed, 1/4 mile and the handling corse! Its a must for any one who loves tuner motorsport! http://www.totb.co.uk/home/ Check the web site out and add you name if you fancy coming along. 1: Djtimodj. 2: 3:

    Skittish Rear End

That is the exact same thing that was happening to me mate! I had the geometry readjusted and had the camber reduced in the rear and had them toe the rear wheels in a tiny bit. No more problems with what used to feel like the rear of the car jumping a few inches side to side. Hope this helps mate.
  19. Alright mate, I have mine in front of the engine cover in the same place the ARC can fits. Ill post some pics up when i get chance to take some.
  20. Thats HOTPIPES old car! Saw it at a few meets last year. Nice car mate.
