  3. Hey guys, cheers for all the comments Alloys are in the pipeline, just having problems with customer services at the minute as the GT4's have started to bubble all round. Have been looking at the alloys involved in Sarnie's 25 page long 'Sarnie's new wheels' thread Very special but keeping an open mind at the mo. Looking forward to the few doubters seeing it in the flesh
  4. Firstly, hope everyone is ok and well, I know I havn't been on for a while due to family illness, anyway.. Left my car with our Big Phil on Monday as it was my Birthday, had been toying with the idea of a bodykit for a while and finally decided what I wanted. Picked it up today and was overwhelmed at the transformation! Hope you like it..... So we now have a Nismo V2 front bumper with carbon lip, Nismo side skirts and spats, and a Nismo V1 carbon spoiler. Also had it lowered and spacers fitted, the difference is amazing, we are really pleased with the look so far Thanks once again to Phil, Andrew and everyone else involved, I have now been made officially....
  5. stunning color, I love the look of this car so much I think it would look good even in sky blue with black spots (well maybe not)
  6. Congratulations, may all your troubles be wee ones
  7. Hi Saz, I've got the same problem !!!!! Z Hopeful. How many posts before we become Veterans? Mind you with my past posting history I will never be a whore (what have I said?)
  8. Just want to say a big THANKS to Stan and guys for this evening. Sam and I had a great time, good to meet more new faces a pretty good turn out, 9 cars in all, must do this again soon, doughnuts at Krispy Kremes highly recommended, Thanks Stan (sat here eating my custard creams as we speak) Will post pics tomorrow
  9. No worries this time, cameras are for the benefit of traffic heading towards Manchester.Pity I didn't know, you could have called for a coffee. I would have loved to have seen the neighbors faces with two yellow Zeds parked in my drive. I am two mins away from the 606.
  10. to the forum, car looks stunning
  11. I'm assuming you were on the M606 traveling North towards Leeds, in which case you should be o.k. Yes there are two cameras and a speed limit of 50 if you were heading South towards Manchester, only for a short distance though.
  12. Happy Birthday Charlie! Hope you had a great time away! Any Scandal?
  13. Thanks for the invite Stan, count me and Sam in, all being well, could make it after work, will look forward to it. Can you make sure they have some 'custard' doughnuts in??
  14. Tilly

  17. Hey guys! First of all, I would just like to thank Beavis and everybody that was involved in planning yesterday It was great to see such a great turnout but I have to say all you red zeds (red or zed) were very much missed! Was brill to see some familiar faces from October and to put even more faces to names! Hope everyone enjoyed the day as much as we did, was absolutely awesome! Thanks to Nixu and Stanski for a great laugh at lunch, unfortunately Wales is less one squirrel and hedgehog but the sheep are still safe in numbers Stan, the sooner you get to know the colour of my car the better Anyway, hope everybody had a safe trip home and enjoy the pics
  18. Right guys, just about to set off, hope everyone has a safe trip over today and tomorrow Will be in Gresford for most of the afternoon and Hope Village later on so will keep an eye out for you all and give you flash Don't think ill be able to get on the tinternet again now so see you all on Sunday
  19. Has Tilly changed or sprayed her her car then - she hasn't updated her Avatar if that the case she keeps dreaming about the car in the very front of her avatar............. . Why would she be dreaming of a fairlady when she's got a proper Z Why would I be dreaming of black car when ive got a yellow one!! Your right Stuey, I do keep dreaming about the car at the front of my avatar
  20. Really chuffed you've joined up Rick and Trish Was great to talk to you Rick in Halfords car park on Saturday, you definitely wont regret your decision as you could probably tell from my over enthusiasm Trish has definitely got great taste Any chance you'll be zedded up for the Wales run?
  21. Hi Nixy Just read your post and couldn't wait to reply, which is good for me as I don't post often, read every day though! I completely see where you are coming from so let me explain how it worked out for me in October, I guess the only difference being that my Son who is 16 would be with me. I had this picture in my mind and many questions i.e What age group are these people likely to be in? Thinking they would be all young and I would feel totally out of place. I was wrong, they all walked with zimmers! Also my knowledge of cars is nil, and worried that I would feel out of my depth, but this was not the case either. However, I bought the Zed because I love the car and the day of the last Wales meet I can't express the feeling when I saw all these Zed's merging together. It was a fantastic sight with the day just getting better from there, as I said on my post from the last Wales run, great food, great scenery, great people If you would like to meet up anytime and have a chat and a brew then I would be only too happy as we are only next door near Leeds/Bradford. If you decide to go then we could drive down together Pity you couldn't get hubby to come as it really is a day out that suits everyone. Keep trying, I'd give him 20 quid if he didn't enjoy it, but I wouldn't believe him if he said he hadn't anyway
  22. Just looking for a bit of advice guys, Went over to Keighley Nissan last month so they could have a look at the skipping stereo and take some pictures of the alloys as they have corroded (bubbled) really badly over the winter. Took the car into Nissan again this morning to have the stereo replaced and asked the guy if they had heard anything with regards to the alloys. He said that they would need to take more pictures as Nissan had requested them. He said that there is no way the the alloys would be replaced only refurbished and that they would need the car in for a week if the claim was approved. So just got off the phone with Chorley Nissan where i bought the car from and was told that if the wheels were going to be refurbished that they would only need the car in for a day? On the other hand they said that Nissan may send out a warranty worker to have a look at them and then a decision would be made if the alloys would be replaced or not. So it sounds from Keighley that I will just have to accept refurbishment but have been told that I should push for them replacing. So where do I go from here? Thanks guys
  23. Took the trip up to ESR yesterday with my son as its his 16th on Monday. Had arranged to have the Nismo exhaust fitted and absolutely over the moon with it Had an awesome day up there, made to feel very very welcome. Great setup and have never seen a workshop so clean Had a great afternoon chatting with Phil and his son Michael who made us lots of coffee and plenty of good laughs along the way Once again many thanks Phil and see you again in a few weeks
  24. Can't agree with Beavis enough. Whatever you do, don't mistake the fuel cap button for the traction control in the dark. Did this last week and didn't realise until the car was sideways in the middle of a roundabout Still don't know how I managed to do it, but wow what a rush
