Hi everyone at long last Find it hard to sit and do anything other than drive, been a hectic few months, seem to be always on the go. Things seem to be calming down now though thankfully! Hope im not frowned upon too much because im not the worlds best for keeping in touch. To all the new 'zedders' who have recently joined, would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone as I haven't been around for a while, and would just like to say that it was only in October last year when I went to the last Wales run and was fantastic. Nige Not too far away from you, located 2 mins from the 606 in Bradford. Recently bought my Z from the Chorley group at the Burnley branch, have to say really good service, dealt with a guy called Gareth Small and was sound Good luck with the search anyway and im sure you will love the test drive

Hey Guys! I would like to say what a terrific time we had yesterday, I hadnt a clue what to expect but soon felt at ease after meeting such a great group of people The drive was awesome and as Ive had the Z only 7 weeks, going on this run helped me learn about the car and gave me such alot more confidence. It was a great experience for me and drove home to west yorkshire honestly feeling 20 years younger with a perpetual grin on my face! As others have said, big thank you to Beavis for organising such a memorable day out! Also a big thank you to Stuey for leading us along roads that this car was built for! Heres the best of the pictures we took anyway! Stuey, I think you might need your car seeing to as the back never seemed to be inline with the front around corners Charlie's Angel Yep, thats my Z with the bonnet up! Is this kit good quality compared to the original nismo one as im looking into getting a nismo kit as nissan wouldnt fit one for me as it wasn't factory fitted when the car was first made?

Thanks for the comments guys Yeah sorry about the pics, the light wasn't the best to be honest and it didn't help it been under a tree, but it was a sight to be seen at the time Did give her a good wash yesterday, colour came through like a dream and I can now actually see the wheels, don't suppose there's anything to stop the brake dust?

Hey guys! You may remember me from a month or so ago when I was so close to purchasing a Z, but after the advise given I decided it was a no go as the price was far too high. Thanks to all again for the advise Anyway, the searched continued and came across a yellow GT4 at Chorley which I went to view a few weeks ago. Before I went I had my doubts as the yellow wasn't a favourite at all, but I rolled up in the car park and there it was. Whether I got up out of the wrong side of bed or not i will never no but an hour or so later I was the very proud owner of a yellow 350Z So last week I went to pick her up with my son and what a day it turned out to be We went straight to Blubberhouses and up to Menwith Hill which was a run mentioned in the owners book. Recommend this run out to anyone! It has some stunning views and roads and there are also some lovely pubs to stop at. Maybe a future meet location? Couldn't stop smiling the whole time and have still got the smile while typing this I managed to get a few photos of her today while I was in Wales so here she is! If its ok I would also like to put my name down for the Wales meet also as it would be great to meet some of you guys Im no photographer but these don't do this car justice at all. So do I regret buying a yellow 350Z? Hell No! And yes, I will change the ariel hehe

Morning al, thanks for all of the welcomes and comments, my names Linda by the way, Tilly was a name that an old friend used to call me many years ago I actually went to a dealer in Keighley last month to view a yellow GT4, but have always vowed to never get a yellow car and unfortunately that didn't change, although it did look beautiful. So for me the colour has to be sunset as its a colour not seen much on the roads. Ive got to say I have fallen for this car and have done a few searches and have struggled to find something similar to this one. The car has to have the nismo kit as it gives the looks a little extra something. I am actually going to Whales tomorrow so will be passing the dealer on the way there and will pop in for a test drive. He did say the price was negotiable to a certain extent so any advice on that front would be much appreciated Also, when on the test drive and inspection, what common faults should I be looking for? For example the clicking back Axel that I have heard about on this forum and also the jumping stereo. Thanks again for all the help and advice

Hi guys, a long time reader of this forum and I have to say, the information on here has been invaluable in a two year on and off search for my dream car After just coming out of a long and painful divorce, the time has come to make the move and to go for it. To be honest, ive been a Mercedes person for many years, and I was actually in Leeds with my son when I saw a Z for the first time and instantly fell in love Since then I have not been able to get this car out of my system. Anyway, I actually went to a dealer in Huddersfield in the middle of last year to test drive one and it felt like i'd driven it all my life. Deep down I was hoping that it would be awful so it would put me off, but of course the drive was like nothing else ive ever driven. After the test drive of course I sat down with the salesman and was so close to placing an order but the lack of confidence stopped me at the last minute. More fool me, I let another year go by but have now settled nicely into my new home and like I said before, the time is right to go out there and do the right thing. So onto what I went to look at yesterday. I got my son to have a look around on the net to see what was on offer, I decided not to go down the road of buying a brand new one but have set aside around 23k to buy the best one possible. After many hours of searching we finally came across this one http://users.autoexposure.co.uk/jdtmotors/search.cfm (3rd one down) Like I said we went to view the car yesterday and am very impressed with the condition and spec, seems to have just about every option available, which is probably reflected in the price. I am also impressed by the mileage that the car has done but also a little cautious as it is a 3 year old car. Apparently the guy who he is selling it for had a hit in the 70s but can't remember the name now. He also has an X5 and a Gallardo so he only used the Z as a weekend car. So really I suppose I am asking you guys for a second opinion on the price of the car and is there any alternative routes?. I have no knowledge on cars whatsoever but this particular one just seems to be screaming at me. Thanks in advance
