  1. B'day today. You won't even need a sip, the smell got the missus drunk It does pack a punch at 61% to be fair, not really a glugging whiskey
  2. Apologies in advance if my threads get slurred and incoherent today and tomorrow but my b'day present arriived
  3. Miller Oils CFS 10W60 It's synthetic though and don't think will mix unless you already have synthetic. Why don't you get the oil changed or topped up during the service?
  4. Welcome mate The Vortech is the kit i'd go with for supercharging, so much info on it on american sites and how to make your car as safe as possible with it on. Seems like the best all round IMO. For turbo's I'd go for the Power Enterprise, which Envy have fitted to their car. It retains the original character of the car whilst giving ridiculous performance Not as tuneable as others but if you want 380bhp then it's perfect. Envy can source and fit for less than 6k. Have you considered Nitrous? Just another option if you don't always need boost. . .
  5. think shes taken bro, someone she met at Bingo Tell her I got a lucky dabber - that might woo her over
  6. Seriously tho I think that kit looks awesome. Standard R8 is a bit plain IMO and think the kit adds a seriously aggressive look.
  7. You gotta PM me her number bro, she's HOT!!!

    Whoa!

I've seen them exhausts somewhere before, thought they were a joke tho
  9. Its tacky to get a bodykit that makes your car look like something else, almost looks like an R8. I take it your getting the 2 litre version?
  10. We'll be the judge of that
  11. Set you up for that one Martin
  12. Yes - the car is the easy bit: 250 quid/MONTH for a parking space in central Tokyo.... We are looking at not owning whilst we are there and then renting something really special when we need to (a GTR is deffo on that list!) Glen How much are the parking tickets?
  13. How come?
  14. Didn't know JDM's had snow buttons. . .
  15. You made the right choice. You mean he got ripped off by a mod Nah, I don't mind eating soup and bread now all my savings are gone
  16. The Dodo Juice carnuba wax is about £30 per tub. Water's still beading on my car after about a month. Would recommend it
  17. Dump her and live in the car. Simple.

    Lambo doors

Look great on a decently modded car, rubbish on standard. Would be wary about which one's you get cos some are more trouble than they're worth
  19. I've used megs polish and paint cleaner etc followed by Dodo Juice. No probs as far as I'm aware. Maybe all my paint will fall off soon. . . EDIT - Dodo juice wax
  20. Excellent price bud, sure you'll enjoy ownership. Don't bother getting a Bose system fitted, plently of better steroes about. Loads of people upgrade from the Bose anyway.
  21. Personally more about the 'gut busters'. Hat's off to that bloke
  22. Get any pics of the car now bud? Was toying with Thruxton's before I got mine. . .
  23. Welcome bud You got the modding bug yet?
  24. Any excuse to get a pic up Tim Do look great though, was silently impressed at Wales. How were they to fit?
  25. True! I was just making the point that any mods may not be the OPs to sell.... The move to Tokyo has come around unexpectedly so we are currently looking at the least financially disasterous solution for the Z as there are still 14 months left on the contract: 1. Sell it back to the dealer and pay off the finance and make up the shocking amount of shortfall - getting any dealer to give us a price is proving to be a nightmare.... 2. If possible, sell it privately and make up less of a shortfall. 3. If the numbers for 1 and 2 above don't work (ie the shortfall is more than the payments outstanding + insurance + servicing and possibly storage), park it in a garage for a year and then hand it back when it is due. Trouble is, this is too good an opportunity to miss, much as getting rid of the Z is going to be a wrench! Glen On the plus side, a brand new Zed in Japan is only about £6.50 anyway so the money you may lose will be offset with the money you save
