Washing the zed today and noticed my front towing eye cover is missing, i pressume i can only get one of these from the dealers?

Some dude tried to blitz me in his mx-5(oh dear). Took the zed to a healthy speed and kept it there, he had caught up with me by the time we got to the lights and shrugged his shoulders as if to say is that all ya got Some people.... i dunno kinda wish he had followed me onto the bypass, and then it would have been farewell my friend. Anybody else with any similar storys?

Hi Delboy I think you should be looking at more like £16k-17K for an 04gt with that many miles so if you have seen one for fifteen and everythink is ok then.. bargin

Hi. Thinking about changing my rear speakers in my non bose zed, the front ones are ok but the back are pathetic. I have a big install in my other car and don't really want to spend an awful lot on the zed as i get as much music as i need through the engine and exuast note. Anybody got any recommendations (with a price attached if poss )

The pushies on the right hand side adjust the brightness of your dials

I've not got a piccy to show you Nixy, but if you look at your main cluster (directly behaind your steering wheel)you will see on the left hand side two silver pushies, if you push the top one it will adjust your centre console right hand dial

I use megs three step and i'm very impressed, but i do want to try some p21s as i believe the results are excellent

And as proof of that last statement, in actual fact I swapped the knackered Metro for the "Flying Turd" - a B plate Mk1 Astra 1.3 in a stunning shade of brown. Yep, completely poo brown. Great 2nd gear on it though, I think thats what sold it to me. 18 years old and not a clue. You remind me actually Nixy, your lad has a Mk2 Astra doesn't he? He wouldn't be interested in some shocks & springs would he?????? Mk1 astra... always fancied a mk1 gte, i've not seen one of those on the road for years.

Well, it will be a 57 GT4 if its registered in september To say it is an 05 GT4 is incorrect. My UY GT4 was an 06 plate as it was registered later than most but nowhere near as late as this one. This car is a MY03-05 with the 296 bhp rev up engine that is in the MY06 version. This car has the newish engine but the very first interior. Next came the MY06 (new interior) and now the MY07. I would be a little wary about paying too much for it as it now has outdated interior and now engine. Although it is the best colour Ok but i think i'm right in saying this car would have been manufactured in 2005, the car in Chester was up for sale for around £27000 ish(can't remember the correct value). One of my questions would be "why has this car been sleeping for so long?" I understand that this is signwizards first post and may not be fully aware of this, but on the other hand, if you have fallen in love with this car and it feels right for you then go for it, but as Sarnie said be wary about the price you are paying cause if it is about the same price as an 06, 56 then you will be losing out on the updated interior. Hope this doesn't sound like i'm putting you off the zed as what ever spec you buy its an amazing car

That looks like a car huntington Chester tryed to sell me!! If it is its actually an 05 gt4 as there is no such thing as a 57 gt4 buddy. I would certainly do a bit more investigating before you drive this off the forcourt as you may be able to get an 06 for the same price.

Got back from rhyl yesterday and the temp was in the mid teens
