Quite high milleage!!.. my 2003 import had 12K miles on it. Yep agreed better to get import if u know ur gona keep it for the life of the car.. otherwise re sale will be less.

Get an import pre 2003 they are much easier to modify as the engine ECU doesnt self adjust. Also more kits for the older models. Only need to swop sat nav..its no problem just get a double dinn system ..youl be saving about £6k anyway.. so put it to good use.

id say get a 2003 import for 12K and use the money saved to convert the sat nav, get some nice ICE and twin turbo installed

I didnt make it ..my gf gave me hell last night cos she wanted to me to take her out to dinner and movie...she also started complaining that i love the car more than her... i totally denied it of course.. but be honest i think shes right hope to see a lot of new faces in the Bluewater meet on sunday night..., was great fun last time

If it needs replacing .. why not upgrade them to an aftermarket product? Light weight flywheel and performance clutch will make u smile more often

I take offense to hear TT leaving Z for dust.. i doubt it unless u upgraded its turbo. I raced loads of TT (motly the twin exhaust version 225 hp) and none of them have been able to keep up

Yep thats right, same as my 03 import TT convert - always go for exhuast first then high flow cats.. my nismo exhaust and hi flows are vv loud..some might not like it.

i have high flow cats.. if u want to fit some..make sure u buy from good trader (not cheap ones from US Ebay.com cos they dont fit right) IF u have an imported Z the ECU will not cancel out any gains ..only the UK cars ECU's do that. My hi flow cats makes the car sound amazing...100% better than standard. But i lose some low down torque.. but dont care too much, i love the sound and wont fail any MOTS. U shud only de cat when u have TT or supercharger ( and at MOT time u will need to fit the original cats back on for the test.. v annoying).

Instead of having catalytic converter which restricts the gasses free flow out of the exhuast ...de cat is straight through pipe (no catalytic converter) so the gasses will leave the exhuast much quicker increasing HP - but u will most certainly fail any MOT tests.

Yep.. i suppose any place can have its bad moments...i guess if u take enough precautions it shud be ok.. just in that country if something bad happens there usually its devastating. Glad u had good trip.
