The Apache drinks fuel at around 1000lbs per hour.....I think thats around 5 litres per minute...

I have been trawling ebay.com recently and was amazed at how cheap some after market goods are in the states. CAI for $25 for starters..... should I be cautious or just take advantage of the great exchange rate?? Seen a couple of good ads for carbon fibre add ons too....

I didn't realise that exterior styling would feature so high when you consider the many after market options. For me, having driven sports cars in various forms, it has to be the response and handling from a car that weighs so much!! A couple of times the OEM set up has saved my skin when Joe public decided to just pull out at a junction etc.

I have the latest version but not sure how reliable it would be if someone were to copy it, not that one would as that would be "illegal"!

I mentioned this event to a few at JAE and so have decided to elaborate. Fighting torque is an event mainly geared to TVR's by a friend of mine. It will be held at our active airfield (home of the awsome Apache attack helicopter!) in Wattisham, just outside Ipswich in Suffolk. The date is Sunday 12th August, and will comprise of several timed runs over 3/4 mile down the main runway. The organisers have said that we are welcome to run several cars together rather than just one on one. It will be covered by Autosport magazine and is a closed doors event. Ditto for the weekend. Despite the rain on Saturday it didn't dampen our spirits and left on a high as Val and I both won prizes in the charity raffle. Free VIP tickets for next years JTS for me (which I would def reccomend attending) and Val won a video about rebuilding R Mazda rotary engines and some oil vouchers! Got back pretty quick too as only had a 90 mile trip!! Now, where is that website selling the induction kits and exhausts!!!

I must be averaging close to 24 mpg, but motorway driving on a busy day....closer to 30 mpg, empty motorway, closer to 20 mpg. Popping in and out.....18 mpg!!
