The Scorpion was designed on a JDM model, their production photos show it fitted to a JDM and we too have many times fitted it to a JDM too...

The Cobra Y pipe can indeed be used with the OEM midpipe and silencer, we've swapped out lots of damaged OEM Y pipes with the Cobra Y...

Personally I would opt for the Cobra as its been designed to work alone and with their own system, which you have... In the last few months we've replaced so many Japspeed Y's with Cobras in our own workshop...
