Finally bought a Tom Tom One I found £25 vouchers I won at Christmas, so got it for £135 in PC World The power lead is a pain, looks like you have more room in your cubby Tim, but I reckon I'll make holder out of MDF/plywood that fits in the cubby. What did you do to keep yours in that position Tim? What's the easiest way to thread the lead to the lighter socket internally ...full centre console out? Think it has to come out so I can drill a hole in the cubby to poke the wire through.

Check this out i was PMSL This happened yesterday morning to a guy at work. He is fanatical about his car and always keeps it in tremendous condition and washes it 2-3 times a week. He didn't believe us when we told him about it until we showed him the photo, his chin nearly hit the floor. He was and cleaned it right away. The funny thing is the two cars either side were spotless.

I don't know what it is., honestly. I've had a few mates (not chavs) that had Saxos, 106s and 306s. They all said the same thing that they wouldn't buy French again. Always had a problem. In saying that my father in law has a laguna and taxis it (160,000 miles +), the timing belt has went once which could happen on any car, other than that no real mechanical issues. His main gripe is the cost of umpteen window motors, tyre sensors, brake sensors etc. Mechanically fine, electrically poor. One mate had a Saxo and ran it into the ground. He now has a C4 and swears by it... I think I'd just end up swearing at it though. As I say I don't know what it is...

The VXR8 is the equivallent of the HSV Clubsport R8 apparently, so technically not a Monaro (but it is really, ie 6L V8 and sideways sliding ). You're right with th e GTO thing, was manufactured under Pontiac.
