  1. Speed dictates the gearing, as far as I'm aware there is nothing wrong in doing that.... I do it all the time.... always have.... in every car I've had
  2. As Sarnie says Dan posts on here. Top bloke and knows a lot about Zs and cars in general. The fuel debate... ah now there is a can of worms It will run on 95 Ron no issues. Some prefer to use premium petrol but IMHO differences were negligible due to smart ECU...I tried them all. JDMs apparently run better on the dearer stuff. Dan - Looks like you've only got the silver Monaro now
  3. Sounds like your no hurry to sell may be moving along more quickly Once the idea of a new car is in your head......
  4. New you'd be along sooner or later
  5. Equibs in Australia do carbon kits. Speak to Zedrush or Pingu2
  6. If it's brand new you'll get a 3yr Manufacturers Warranty... so any dealership will do any work required
  7. Just finished my lunch and after reading this it would appear that I may have ingested LSD...
  8. I'd agree, the one on my Monaro is lighter and in all the reviews it was described as a heavy clutch.... I beg to differ I was driving a Peugot 307 a couple of weeks back and pressed the clutch.... I nearly put my foot through the floorplate
  9. The number one gripe I have with the compacts is shutter speed... or lack of. Next camera is going to be an SLR. Compacts have their place and are great for everyday photos, but if you want to take pictures of anything moving or at distance then it's an SLR.

    my new wheels

Nice one mate, that's what I had
  11. Elise R or possibly an Exige... Good man That is my plan eventually, trade Monaro in, in 2 years, sensible car and a pocket rocket
  12. What you thinking of getting next Kev any thoughts? 2nd hand Zed plus a good 4 seater I couldn't be bothered with the hassle so p/x'd mine. I was happy with what I got which is the main thing, especially as it needed tyres, tax and a service....i.e £700+ worth
  13. My pic is quite cool isnt it? Who is it?

  16. good guide here mate http://liljerk.morpheus.net/350Z/rear_speakers/ That ain't a Monaro ....Zeds gone
  17. Wow another one going.... Good luck with sale mate, shes a beauty and it'll make a great weekend car for someone
  18. Lesson learned along time ago on that I'm afraid. Soap and water is all I ever use after my CTR wheels blistered using wonder wheels. Luckily I got those replace for nowt. I take it that it won't polish out? is it pitted?
  19. May be a crazy suggestion, but you could get a decent size piece of wood, and then cut it to give you a make shift ramp, enough to raise your drivers side to get over the hump. Hard to tell without seeing it. It is the worst sound in the world though As I've said in previous posts I used to have the problem on farm roads at my mother-in-laws. One day I actually took a shovel with me to remove a hump out the road that the gas board had kindly left there
  20. Halfords can normally match any paint, either that or one of the online companies. I got a can of sunset A17 done for £10, however this was only used for small parts and features......not paintwork My rear speaker cover is badly chipped in my new car. I've just found out I need to remove the whole rear seat to get the blinking speaker cover off The plan was to respray it.... that WAS the plan.
  21. Just leave it over night to do it Photobox is very good though as you can choose varies sizes, panoramics etc. You can also preview the picture before you buy as different sizes may crop your images. 6" x 4.5" iirc is the size for digital images, 6" x 4" will crop out a lot.
