    The thing is, it is alleged they left the scene of the accident. If they had stayed, called the emergency services/got help, the driver of the other car may still be alive. If the report in the press is correct, they should have had the guts to stay at the accident scene and stand by their actions. The authorities should throw the book at them.

    You may have seen my posting on another thread regarding clutch/gearbox issues. I would have to have spent out £2k plus and even then it would have not fixed the problem and Nissan may only/possibly cough up. Personally, I think it is very poor compared with other manufacturers warranty's.

    Have noticed on the forum the continuing saga all of us seem to have with dealership's and getting problems put right under warranty. From what I can see, it is worthless. You might as well put things right yourself (if you are technically able) or take it to a local garage who you may have a good relationship with. What does everyone think?

    Yup local garage to me does it for £45 and they have to get a external company in to do it as they dont have a machine If you have a Hall's Auto Electrical near you they can do it for around the £45 mark. As Jimbo says, many garages get someone external to do it. In my area that is Hall's.
