  1. I have an idea. Maybe we could approach Viz Magazine and get the Two Fat S**gs to come along to our next meet and drool themselves over our cars! The layer of grease left behind would certainly protect the paintwork!
  2. This is looking a little better....................come on everyone, where is your Christmas Spirit :headhurt:
  3. As the sayings go: 'Remember beauty is skin deep'..................................... 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder'...................................... Pitty the boyfriend must be blind! Leave his white stick alone!
  4. Last year was a great success. I previously have looked at sorting out a Christmas Meal/Night out for the South West. Level of interest............Zero. What can I say?
  5. Looks like this one is dead and buried before it takes off!
  6. How close was that! Ferrari, remember the saying ' its not over til it's over'.
  7. Come on! Only 3 people up for a night out? Are there any more takers?
  8. Polish women have heard that UK 350z owners are good in bed!
  9. Thanks for the info but please dont tell me that I dont have any money! We talked about a holiday to Japan in the not too distant future? Tempted to buy one while over there - used to cost £600 to ship in a container? But exchange rate is pants at the mo. I used to have a Figaro -it was a rare 1 little old lady owner, minter and for a micra based vehicle it was great .The Pau is a lot slower and heavier - see one once in a while on M56! I used to recover Figaro dashboards for the guy who imported mine, so have a bit of knowledge on these. Not that keen on the S Cargo but as a practical fun car for the right money the Cube is pretty cool. Just remember a lot of these smaller cars cost about £3K over there so why they end up being £6-8K here is amazing Finnair are doing some cheap flights via Helsinki if you feel like a visit to Japan. Have just come back but the wait between flights at Helsinki airport was not a pleasant experience. Totally naff airport with nothing to do. Need to improve their facilities if they wish to make it a hub airport. On the shipping side, you would be looking nearer £1.5 -2k now to ship. Nor are they £3k to buy there (accept a totally clapped out one). By the time you got one back (new) and put it on the road in the UK would cost you approx £12 - 13k. Many European cars can be had for better money................
  10. Fantastic film review Is it worth spending £6 on?
  11. Ok..lets go for Saturday 6th December. Venue Central Birmingham. Takers?..............................
  12. Nissan Cube is a great little car. The auto box is a bit naff and it is not meant for Motorway Driving but apart from that it is Nisan Micra (March in Japan) technology and does a job. Contact GlenMH if you are interested in importing one. He is surrently in Japan and has contacts at Nissan. Show him the 'readies' and I am sure he can sort something for you!
  13. Any more takers? Come on, where is the festive spirit then?
  14. Tried sorting out a regular South West meet last year but only one person turned up. Happy to get something going again if people bother to attend. What commitment can I have from you all out there? Sunday evenings would be best I guess. Comments please...................
  15. That time of year has come round again. Last year we all met in Birmingham and had a great night out. Who would be up for doing it again?
  16. Nice car but the lights are not my cup of tea at the moment. Guess I will get used to it. Would I buy one? Not in the near future.

    MOT...

Have just had mine tested for the first time. Went through ok. My local MOT Station who I have used for years does not use rollers but a different system and the MOT Inspector drives the car on to a grid with sensors on it. (Do not know what it is called though). Maybe a local MOT Station to you has this system as well. Best of luck anyway.
  18. Someone really has it in for the McLaren Team in my opinion. What was Lewis meant to do. If he had not taken evasive action there would have been an accident. Would love to see that lot in the FIA trying to drive on that track in those conditions. What a bunch of idiots!
  19. Depends on your screen. You can always print it off.
  20. Maybe worth trying to sell your existing car privately, then you have cash in your hand. Always go in three months after a new Registration has come out; this is a garages lull time for Sales. I guarantee the salesperson will bite your hand off to do a deal.
