Those that know me will know I have barely been around in the last two or three years for one reason or another. In that time lots has changed and I have an iPad. I don't seem to be able to use the site the same where are the smilies for example? It was also a total nightmare to post a pic. I used photo bucket which was horrendous on an iPad for some reason but surely things have moved on in posting pictures? Or haven't they? I feel like a noob! (I would post a sad face but I can't find any smilies!) :-(

I had one exactly there. The dent guy was ace. He went in from behind the wheel arch and did it.

Something similar happened to mine. Put a big metal hose clip round it and seems ok for now.

Thanks for all the advice guys. Got two nights booked in a mega cheap and cheerful 14 miles away. Just got to decide whether it's worth the all day drive to get there! Do I need to decide quick? Are tickets likely to sell out fast?

Never been but always wanted to! The hardest bit when you live miles away is getting a hotel.

Sold out anywhere close. I've just booked a flea pit 15 miles away mega cheap for Friday night and Saturday night which is fully cancellable. I thought that was the thing that needed doing first!

What I'm asking is what is the best day to go? I've guessed at driving down Friday. Going on the Saturday and Sunday then driving back. If one day is enough I can change my hotel booking but which day is best?

Guy who sold it was a top bloke. Handed over all the parts he had swapped out, a carbon front hugger he hadn't got round to fitting and even got a pillow off the bed to wedge between the bike and the van door! Think he was sad to see it go! 😃

I love Guy Martin. He's a great! All his programmes have been amazing. Did you catch the spitfire build the other week? He's very quirky. I read he has aspergers which explains his personality somewhat. I had a bit of a crush until his mate said he doesn't shower or change undies for a week!
