This man is the reason people think Hull is a craphole! Actually at least 4% of the people in Hull are ok
Are you one of the 4% then? You don't live near big Ronnie do you?
-
We are? I suppose we have Ronnie
I saw this in the paper today - what an idiot he sounds! 'do you know who I am?'

Refurbed my headlights this afternoon and they look amazing. Fine sandpaper with lots of water. Cutting compound on a circular polishing pad on my drill then a T-Cut on pad followed by a resin polish also on the pad. I'm a very happy chappie.
When I read this my first thought was that they need a refurb. Mine have been done twice. First time by a detailer after I tried and mucked them up, second time my other half did them by hand like you have done and they came up amazing. Lots of people think their lights are fogged up but it's actually on the outside! Yours will look great now.

Hi, I'm from Yorkshire. A few of us used to meet up now and then at Exscape but it's all died off a bit. I know personally that although I still love the car to bits I've lost interest in doing the meets thing after 8 years! I tend to meet the friends I've made on here individually and keep in touch with them on that basis. Still always flash another zed though!

Big heavy girl with lots of grunt!

He's not much better. They both need to be taken for a tour around a hospital motorcycle accident ward.
I couldn't agree more. Wouldn't be much skin left on either of those two in an accident!

Me and my other half are on the gixxer on the left of the picture on our way to a bike event. One of those 'arrival photographers' snapped this. The guy in front had just blasted past us at I would say at about 100mph ish on the humber bridge (not the most stable road) and I was stunned to see his other half hanging on for grim death wearing flip flops, a hoodie and leggings.........

I have to agree with you, it's deafening, and not in a nice way - although each to their own!

I was at the bikers cafe at the weekend with my other half on the Gixxer when a 2006 grey zed pulled into the car park with a couple in it. I did hovver around while he was buying their coffees but didn't pluck up the courage to chat without my zed!

No problem at all with starting. It literally goes into limp mode then is fine once I stop and start again.

Yes mine is a JDM. It's a very strange one as can go for a long time without happening. Having said that I don't drive it daily either. I will check the brake fluid though as well!

was yours intermittent and cured by just switching on and off like mine? Is that an easy fix?
-
Fantastic pics!
Billy the Kid used the name William Bonney as one of his alias names but his real name was as above.

I THINK I've posted this fault previously but it's so intermittent I kind of hoped it wasn't going to do it again. A search on here has revealed similar from other members and I wondered if there was a definitive answer?
The fault has occurred twice coming off a roundabout (weirdly the same roundabout) and twice pulling out of junctions. The latest time was saturday pulling out of a B&Q and about to cross a busy road turning right and it felt like the car had suddenly stalled. In fact it was still running. Lights on the dashboard were Engine managment light, SLIP and another which I think was traction control or ABS. The car was in LIMP mode and I barely managed to get across the road and pull over and put my hazzards on. I then switched the ignition off, switched it on again and it was fine and has been since. This has happened four times now and makes me very nervous! On doing a bit of internet digging I've found this but I'm no mechanic so wondered what opinions here were?

Cheers guys I will drop them a line

Hi guys. I'm very much out of the loop with the latest / best traders on here now so who is best to go to for front pads and discs? Cheers.

So after months in the garage and various titanium nuts and bolts, samco hoses, wheel colour change, carbon fibre and a new suspension set up I finally got my first ride out on it a few weeks ago! Everything I worried about and analysed about over being a pillion on a sports bike was rubbish! You don't fall off if you go round corners! Haha. I absolutely loved it and you can't keep me off it now! The only thing that bothered me was the slippy seat so we bought a triboseat cover which is the cheapest and best mod yet - I don't move! Loving having the best of both worlds!

Just googled it thank god I've got the hill climbing beast in the garage!
-
There is one big hill on the way to work and it's fine - but slow! I do think it would struggle up anything mega steep!
-
It replaced a y Reg Clio that had green stuff growing around the windows as I washed it three times in four years so I can't complain!

Just taken delivery of a new fiat 500 sport. It has an awesome 65bhp! Haha. Couple of niggles - got in it tonight after work and was shocked that I had to sit ages while the inside of the windscreen cleared! I was blasting it with air on to no avail!
Both rear lights are fogged up at the edges - being an OCD this irritates me but can I be arsed with going to the dealer.......?
Petrol cap - nightmare to get off and on and I looked a total bimbo at the garage - I am still to work out how to get it back on.......
Other than that it's a cool little car!

I'm probably old enough to be your mother Dave!

Absolutely loving the men's wedding chat! I got married in Barbados it was crap. The divorce in the UK was much better! if I ever do it again it's vegas and an Elvis! Sod everyone else. And I'm never changing my name again. What a hassle! Changing it back was even worse. And why does she only get half if you get hit by a bus? Just being nosey! anyway congrats I'm sure it will be a day to remember!

I used to have an EP3 Civic. One of the best most fun cars I've owned and the only one I would consider repeating!
