I've just had to check your location for two reasons
1) To see if there is a time travelling car hidden away in a garage somewhere nearby that I might spot on the road one day
2) To find out whether there is some garage invading car stalking madman living anywhere nearby
I see you are in Yorkshire so
1)
2)
1. near York
2. mad WOMAN!

It's not often I just invade a random stranger's garage but I couldn't help myself!
I find these sorts of things much more interesting than going and looking at some big shot's super car. Give me an escort mexico or something restored anytime!

When you go out walking you can be far more nosey into people's driveways! Spotted a gun metal on Saturday afternoon (or could have been silver) tucked away in a driveway in the little town where I live.

Called in at my son's house on Sunday night and as I parked the car up I noticed the guy across the road working on something in his garage, it was getting dark and he had a big light rigged up.............did a double take then said to my other half "is that a DeLorean????" That was it, I was out of the car and in his garage before you could say flux capacitor! He got it from Canada and it only has about 3500 on the clock. Not everyone's cup of tea but has always for me been one of those cars I would have in my collection when I win euro millions. I asked him if I could pop over every now and then as the project unfolds so hopefully will get some pictures! It made my day!

Confusing post, it isnt but it could be, in fact I think it was
Pretty sure you will find it is mirrors as above.
Yes, my editing could have been better! Mine doesn't work which is probably why i forgot what it was! The other is deffo fog light and hole where traction control button should be. I wonder if it's been pushed through and whether it's on or off!
-
The little round button far left is nothing to do with the mirrors - I've got the same button but I'm struggling to remember what the damn thing is for! The VDC/Traction control button should be where that big hole is............ and the yellow switch is the aftermarket fog light switch.
Or actually the round button could be the mirrors but mine don't dip automatically as when the thatcham alarm was fitted I think it scuppered that one.

I've used them loads with no issues, however I got my last set of tyres from Oponeo as they beat them on price. Came next day as I recall too!

I actually agree with most of the comments on this from both sides. There probably are 'some' women out there who could compete but not in comparison to the amount of men that dominate motorsport. Look at Jenny Tinmouth in BSB and TT. No she's not finishing on podiums but she's not finishing last either. Yes her sponsorship with Honda may be because she's a woman but she would still wipe the floor with any male biker I know. As long as there is opportunity for a girl to compete that's great.

That has just made me think I am never going to move again....... As for the roads in Lincolnshire - speed cameras galore!

Shoes - lots of them! (sorry but what did you expect? )

I need a replacement coolant reservoir cap. It's just a piece of black plaggy but all I can find online is from the USA for about $18! Anyone know where I can get one quick and easy? I don't have a nissan garage anywhere near me and trying to get a part from them on the phone when your import is not on their system is a nightmare!

Mine's left all winter on trickle charge. I hardly ever start it up for weeks on end. It's always been fine.

fantastic thanks for sharing. Will follow this with interest!

It's got so boring now I only ever record it so I can fast forward. MotoGP, Isle of Man TT and anything Bike related for me any day! I've even started watching BTTC!

I'm not quite as bad but getting there! Had mine 9 years and driven it twice since October! I bought it a trickle charger for Christmas!

I was there Friday afternoon with the dog for a walk around and a coffee. Even though it was cold and miserable there was quite a few bikes. When we go on the bike on a warm day it is an amazing spectacle. Probably the biggest turn out of bikes anywhere in the north I would say.

When my other half kept leaving empty loo rolls on the cistern instead of putting them in the bin, I just started leaving them in his shoes! When he asked me why I just said because you obviously wanted to keep them! He doesn't do it now........ perhaps there's a new place for your cat poo............

I have something similar on DVD called 'The history of the Z' (I think.......). It's fascinating, starts with the tale of how the head honcho of Datsun/Nissan named it the Fairlady after seeing the Broadway production of my fair lady but that they used the 350 for the american market as didn't think they would like the name which remains as fairlady in Japan. Nerdy DVD but I enjoyed it!

Just had a week off and thought I would check in with this thread to see if the litter trays are overflowing yet?
-
I think he should go on strike!

Bloody hell, what does she do?? Do you want to come and live with me? (As long as you put the loo seat down.......)

The Extraordinary Case of Alex Lewis C4
in Off Topic Discussion
Posted
Did anybody else watch 'The Extraordinary Case of Alex Lewis' last night on Channel 4?
This was one of the most awe inspiring things I have ever seen. If you haven't seen it I recommend you watch it on catch up. It makes you forget all about your mundane problems and really bumps you back to reality. Amazing bloke and such a tragedy that he cannot get what he needs from the NHS. If he'd been in an accident then presumably insurers would foot the bill but as this was an illness he has to raise the cash himself. Truly amazing couple.
