just read that link - bloody unbelievable. How can they justify awarding someone 40k in damages for motorsport noise - you would probably get less if you got shot in a robbery! With the way the economy is at the moment you would think the jobs it creates would be more important!

I haven't heard it's affecting any of the car shows/events but maybe you're right? They'll be stopping the air show too probably - the red arrows are quite loud!

Only just found out about this (unbelievable bearing in mind i pass it twice a day)! What a set of miserable barstewards!
